Fawn’s trail mix 🫣
I'm reading one of the tinker bell books i borrowed from the library, and Iridessa saw an owl so she hid, and when the owl flew away she suddenly got an idea so she woke up all the fairies just to tell them that the owl attacked her. THE OWL DID NOT ATTACK YOU.
Next in line for 'if fairies were pokémon trainers" is Iridessa.
The gang's all here! I love that they are all different colours of the rainbow and I love how the all mesh together so well

Artemis and Alene were starting to get sick of the endless homework. There were so many better things they could be doing!
Unfortunately, a certain homework-focused parent seemed to know exactly when they were faltering, and was more than happy to back-seat tutor. There was no getting out of it!
Homework wasn’t just about the grade! It could teach life skills, and most importantly it made her so proud of her kids that her mom-bragging would give them a great reputation! And those two loner could use the social boost!
Still, Iridessa could see the appeal of a quiet, hobby-filled life out here in the solitude. Her extraverted soul couldn’t handle it personally, but she could see what a nice life they’d made for themselves. They had turned out so differently from her, but she loved to see them grow nonetheless.
Grow like a banana tree, where they could live their best baby monkey lives… ig. Or maybe Iridessa just really liked monkeys this whole time. Angelica and Alene were the big painters of the family so I have no clue how Iridessa expresses herself via art.
I love Iridessa. She's such a nervous wreck but it doesn't stop her from joining the shenanigans

In my last post I was talking about the seasonal Ministers, which got me thinking about potential future Minister candidates. I immediately thought of Iridessa and that one scene where she explains to Dr. Owl that if she was in charge, maybe Pixie Hollow would get into less trouble.
Paired with her cautious and no-nonsense personality, she would make a great Minister. And if I would imagine it, I think her Minister outfit would be an altered version of her original scrapped dress or her Pixie Party dress.
Iridessa eventually managed to redirect the conversation towards homework. It had been the #1 thing she’d focused on with her kids, so it felt nice to help with the homework again. Just like old times!
Although, now that her babies were living out in the wilderness alone, Iridessa was starting to regret not focusing on cultivating other skills they needed. Books smarts don’t equal street smarts, as it turns out! And out of all the kids, Artemis especially hadn’t cared much for cooking. So it was time to share some of Iridessa’s family recipes!
Unfortunately, expert guidance and increased skill didn’t stop Artemis from getting hurt. Wielding wrenches and blowtorches was one thing, knives were entirely another! Iridessa found it baffling.
