I just spent literally an hour talking to Dylan about how League could do so much better in terms of balance and usability on champions.

Rant under the cut bc I don’t want to take up y’alls whole dash with this

I just think that it’s unfair to boast ‘a champion for every play style’ when most of those champions are difficult to use at best. (not because they’re hard to understand, but because they’re just severely underpowered compared to the rest)

It shouldn’t be necessary to spend 300+ hours playing a single champion to be able to know how to make them viable.

And yet there are so many champions who are like that.

That being said though, there are also a bunch of champions who don’t get to be played because of how hated they are by League players. (Yasuo being one of the first to come to mind.)

It shouldn’t be commonplace to pick a champion and suddenly have your whole team dodge. And yet it happens.

It’s happened to me and Dylan in games against bots.

We weren’t even playing a game that mattered.

And our team left.

Because he wanted to play Rengar again after he hadn’t for quite a while.

That’s it. He chose Rengar as jungler and immediately at least one person dodged.

Which is absolute bullshit because again, we were playing against bots. We weren’t playing ranked, or even against human opponents. Bots. And someone dodged from Dylan playing Rengar.

It’s unbelievable! Why do people choose to believe that every single game with those kinds of champions will be unplayable?

It’s really upsetting and I just wish I was able to enjoy the game without playing in specifically custom games constantly. :/
