Y'all do realise that when you're harassing queer people about wanting to see two queer men on telly you are basically just bullying a minority? Like all that bullshit about us not being able to let two "straight guys just be friends therefore supporting macho culture". IT.IS.NOT.OUR.FAULT.THAT.SOCIETY.IS.LIKE.IT.IS!! don't you go blaming queer people for wanting to interpret male intimacy. A lot of us, especially a lot of people in the trans community actively fight against rigid societal notions of toxic masculinity and men 'not being allowed to show feelings'. I am sick of reading these toxic statuses on the TJLC tag where people harass us about this. Yes, men should be allowed to have as intimate friendships at women and others, yes, gender should absolutely have no point in how you express your feelings. But there is also something called subtext and if that helps people see themselves presented in ways that are fucking rare in mainstream media then freaking let them be. And saying that it's annoying that men showing their emotions are automatically labelled as being gay is a tad homophobic in itself - because why would it be any issue? If they are gay, so what - if they are straight - why should it bother them? There is nothing wrong with being gay, bisexual, queer... Don't pretend like you care about toxic societal standards when really you are just gaslighting people for seeking representation. *drops mic*

social media [humanity perhaps] rubs me the wrong way, & is seriously injurious to my brain. i have trouble relating to moderates, centrists — much less anyone beyond that.

just beware of the too-freshly branded campaigns that do little but collect your emails. i’m surprised, not-surprised, at some of the partners and sponsors of this type of nonsense. 

framing the protest around the question ‘why won’t trump release his taxes?’ is a silly rhetorical exercise, when Americans should be up in arms protesting the use of their taxes for war, privatization of public resources, healthcare and public education system.

simple misdirection for a topic often misunderstood and maligned. propaganda101

i'm glad you find my art 'edgy'! i always strive to create provocative art that helps educate or inspire.

if you don't follow my blog(s), i doubt you are fully aware of my current mental health condition [poor, but I've been worse]. but to answer your question succinctly, yes.

yes, this money will go to help a person with PTSD [and DID-NOS, and clinical depression]. this person has recently lost his major source of income, and must 'exploit' his own 'bullshit' as an artist. this same person often uses humor and vibrant color to help counter a lot of life's stressors — you'd call them 'triggers'…

i am really excited to hear you think this art will sell well enough to make a profit! how much do you think that'll be?

my @patreon campaign is starting out slow, but it's really new & i am sure it will pick up steam once i finish my intro video, which i'm a bit distracted from at the moment.

yes, i would love to 'profit' from this, or any of my art! & if everyone could be made more aware of mental health, and would actually support those with mental health issues — before another shooting, another queer bashing, another queer suicide, another war.

my art is my means of coping and ideally would be a very profitable one. some might even see my survival to this point as the greatest act of revenge against my attackers. but if i could find success through my art, enough to get by day-to-day, then i imagine no more sweeter revenge.

not everyone has the same traumas. not everyone has the same stressors. not everyone copes the same way, or in a way that might even be expected. not everyone is in the same headspace, or even sees a need to 'recover' in the ways 'prescribed'.

i've been to the rodeo, many times, in my many years; i still don't always understand sport, but i get the general idea. i don't need a merit badge in mixed metaphor exchanges with concern trolls, either. but recovery is about trying.

by all means, exploit me on my terms.
