"Love? Are you doing alright?" Your eyes flutter open to see your husband staring at you with worry. "It was just a dream?" You say your thoughts aloud, relived that what you had just experienced was a dream state.

Looking closer at him, you noticed the worry shown in his green eyes. "Hey, did something happen? A bad dream, perhaps?" Heizou gently held your hands in his as he waited for you to explain what happened.

"Oh... Well, it was just a nightmare, but it's fine." You take a deep breath before mustering a reassuring smile. Obviously, Heizou was a detective--he could see through your act.

"It's alright, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Would you like to try to go back to sleep for a while?" He lays his head onto his pillow and pulls you into his arms, gently rubbing small circles on your back.

Nuzzling closer to him, you nod. He begins to hum your favorite song. After a while, you feel your body relax and you begin to feel sleepy.

"Goodnight, darling. Sweet dreams, may you rest well." He kissed your forehead and then rests his head on your shoulder. Closing his own eyes...
