Hanahaki disease and EarthMix. The heart wrenching, throat closing and tear filling machine. I think this one takes the place as one of my top fanfictions. I love a good heartbreak and this delivered just that with a surprise ending that I never expected. I think amongst all the lists that I will do this one will be the one that I recommend the most. So please go and support the author. They are already popular but it won't hurt more people to support such talented person T-T

Not so much angst but not entirely fluff either. Like a perfect balance of the two. I loved the plot and the way writer put it into words so I highly recommend.

The End Of The World As We Know It

A classic end of the world story. It's a light angst (In my opinion but I think I'm right since they tagged ' Angst and fluff') . The characters don't go through major traumas as the world ends but of course there is some kind of dark theme in the story. I wouldn't spoil what happened but the thing I loved in this story was that the first person Mix sought out to find was Earth. It makes it a little more emotional in my opinion. Okay that's all I am going to say for the story before I spoil it so you should go and read it if you already read all that.

It’s you all of this time (part 1)

It’s Friday night. And tonight I’m going to watch movies with Chanyeol, my best friend or should I say my secret crush. Chanyeol and I are friends since we are in elementary school when he just moved in next to our house. I really love to hang out with Chanyeol. He likes telling jokes and that will make me laugh so hard until I cried. Well, all of that changed since he joined Exo. Well, it’s good for him because I know he will do well to pursue his dreams. And yeah, we are still friends and I’m kinda one of Exo’s best friend too. I mean, I really love to hang out with them because they are so goofy and all.

“Hey, y/n!” Baekhyun with his sweaty shirt and damp forehead wave at me.

“Hey Baek! Wow you guys really are working hard don’t you? Aigoo. Here, I brought you guys some fresh fruits and milkshakes.” And by that, they finished it by a blink of an eye. Wow, they sure are hungry.

“Thanks, y/n. We owe you babe.” Suho said to me with his satisfied smile as he can fill his stomach.

“Hey no prob. So you guys ready for our movie tonight?” I asked them.

“Yeah we’re cool with that, but your best friend here have a date tonight! Haha” Xiumin told me and flash the exo’s member a naughty look on his face.

“What?! Ya Park Chanyeol! You promised me last week and you can’t go because you have a date? How could you!”

“Hey just give me a night off will you? I have my own life too you know.” Wow. Someone is being cold tonight. All of Exo member fell quiet for Chanyeol’s answer and you? You just shocked with his answer too, and it felt like a stab at the heart.

Baekhyun stand up from his seat to answer Chanyeol, but you stop him before any harm could happen.

And finally you answered him.

“Hey, it’s okay. I’m so sorry if I always keeping your weekend occupied with me in your every activities. And have fun with your date tonight.” You answered him and then you just smile at the other member, telling them if you guys can catch the movie in other time and they just nod, with sympathize smile.

By that, you just walk out from their training room and just walk until you stop at the park, holding up your tears.

 At the practice room.

“What the hell, Chanyeol?! You know you can answer her in nicer way! You just make that situation worse.” Baekhyun still mad at him and Chanyeol just don’t care anymore. He thinks that you don’t have any authority to manage his activities just because you are his best friend. He can do whatever he wanted and that means that you can’t just interfere into it.

“Yeah man. Just apologize for your rude tone earlier. It’s better than nothing.” Even the observer guy Kyungsoo voice out his thought.

All of them starting to pack up their things and they call it a night for their practice.

It’s been two week since the last time you made a contact with Chanyeol. After that night, he doesn’t even called you or texted you like he used to do. You are disappointed. Very disappointed. But what can you do? You are just a friend in his eyes. Nothing more.

Suddenly,

*knock knock*

“Hey sweetie.”

“Hey mom. Tired?” I asked her as it’s already 10 pm and she just come back from work with dad.

“Yeah kind of. So how is college? Is everything okay?” she asked me while smiling at me.

“Yeah it’s okay. It’s my final are just around the corner so I just have to study harder this time. Is there anything that you wanted to tell me?” I asked her anyway because I know she have something to tell me.

“Knock knock”

“Hey dad!”

“Hey kiddo. How’s today going?” he ask me the same question and I already smell something fishy.

“Okay you guys. Just tell me already. What’s wrong?” I asked them.

“Okay. Sweetie, your dad and I decided to move to London because of our work. Our branches there needed our guides so we decided to go there. And… your final are just next week so we planned that after you finished your exam, we can just move there and you can have your internship at our company. Okay, so what do you say, pumpkin? Are you okay with that?”

I’m kind of shocked with all the information and planning and decision that mom said to me. And I just don’t know what to answer them.

“Well, I … I …”

Look this does not have any angst in it ( Or at least it was too light to even notice for me). BUT IT WAS GOOD. I know myself, the possibility of making any fluff fic list is very VERY LOW. But this is my participation? Addition? It's the first fluff I read without getting bored. And I'm telling you, you should read it even if you prefer angsty stories more like me. Okay that's it, if you read all that and want more, I would say wait for another two weeks because I am a very slow reader but I will make a list again for sure 💗💗🥹

Why am I doing this? I am answering it now because I know people will wonder or maybe they will not. Either way I will answer. And the answer is to support, yeah that's just it. I want to support the authors that write in a way that I like so they would get inspired and write more.

Also as my name suggests I love angst and I realized there is not much angst written with the ships I like ( EarthMix, SkyNani, YinWar, BounPrem, TleFirstone etc.) So I decided to support the ones that already writes it and I like so they can continue.

Finally the gifs, I wanted to make my own but I realized I didn't have the patience so thanks for all the gif creators, may both sides of your pillow be the best temperature to sleep always 🙏🏻

part 1

It’s you all of this time (part 2)

“Well, I … I … I think I wanted to stay here a little bit longer. I mean, I wanted to stay here for another week after my final exam to hang out with my friends for the last time?” I look at them with pleaded eyes.

“Alright, dear. But not too long, okay? We worried to let you stay here alone.” Mom said. When was the time she doesn’t worried about me anyways? I give her a thumbs up and she and my dad just smiled.

The next day

I wake up from my sleep and still thinking about mom and dad’s plan.  Well, it is really not a bad idea after all, but all my memories are here. And… and Chanyeol too.

“Aish! Why am I thinking of that jerk anyway? Bwo? You have a date? Huh! Date my ass! I bet that girl will just manipulated you in the end!” I mumbled to myself.

“Sweetie? Are you awake yet? It’s already 7 o’clock!” Mom yelled from the kitchen.

“I’m awake, mom!” I answered her and quickly take a shower and get ready.

*Kringggggggg*

My final classes are running softly. I just have to concentrate on my exercises and I’ll excel. I haven’t heard anything from Chanyeol as I didn’t contact him. Other member are just as caring as ever.

I planned to tell them about my moving to London, but I think it’s better to tell them when I am about to go. It is better that way, I think.

“Okay class! This is our final class and our final time together. I hope you’ll do great in your exam. And please take care of your health, okay? I don’t want any of my students answer their papers in sick condition, okay? Do well and I wish you all a very good luck for your future! Thank you everyone. Have a nice day.”

Huh… so… hungry…

“Hey, y/n!”

“Hey, Baek! You don’t have practice today?” I asked him.

“Nope. We can rest for a week this time. I finally can sleep in peace. Hey, wanna grab lunch with me? I’m starving.” He said, acting like a zombie or something.

“Yeah, sure. Where’s Chanyeol? Aren’t you two in the same class today?”

“Well he…” Before he could answer me, I saw Chanyeol. With a girl. And he’s putting his hand around her like she’s the most precious creature in the universe.

“Um, okay. I’m just about to say that, but as you can see, your best friends there is in love with that girl over there and he just can’t stop telling us about her and I’m practically annoyed already.”

It’s weird if Baekhyun complaining about Chanyeol that much. He usually will take his side no matter what.

“Is that the girl that he dated the other day?” I asked with a jealousy covered tone. Hope he won’t notice that.

“Yep.”

Fuck. That’s the same girl who stole my crush a long time ago and now Chanyeol? How dare she!

“Hey. Are you okay?” Baekhyun asked with a worried tone as my face looks like I’m gonna cry or something.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Let’s go.”

And then I dragged him to the cafeteria to avoid any more heart break than I already have.

Our final examination are finally over and that means I have one week left to spend time with my buddies here.

“Hey, guys! Look what I brought you for dinner!” I packed the Exo boys with my home made cooking and there are a bunch of them to fill their belly up.

I determine to talk and be in a good term with Chanyeol again this time. Although he might be a little too cold to me lately. It’s not that I haven’t tried to talk to him all this time.

I tried to talk to him every single time that we met. But all I got for his answer is a rather cold one. It breaks my heart every single time I talked to him. I just wanted to cry and shout at him. I wanted to say I love him more than just a friend, but it’s too late.

One day I saw him kissing that bitch lovingly and that really make my heart broke entirely.

“Hey, Chanyeol.” I tried to make a conversation.

“Uh. Hey, y/n” he answered me short. Again.

And then, silent. I just don’t know what to say anymore then I tried to talk to the other members.

“Hey, do you guys have practice this Wednesday? Because I wanted to go to the theme park with all of you. It’s been a while since we go there right?” I told them with a pleaded eyes.

“Yeah, sure. Why not? It’s been a while, is it? Ahhh… I missed doing outdoor activities. Count me in!” Baekhyun shouted.

“Me too!” Sehun.

“Call!” Chen.

“Me!” Kai.

And all member agreed. Well, except Chanyeol.

Everyone stared at him and some of them even give him a death glare or something.

“What?” he said. He’s really gonna set me aside for his girlfriend, is he? He really didn’t paid attention to our little meeting here as he is too busy texting his girlfriend for a while now.

“Ya. Will you pay us some of your precious attention, please? It’s really stressful to see you sticking your eyes on your phone’s screen lately.” Chen said to him sarcastically.

“Ya! I did paid my attention, okay. Okay, I’ll go.” With his single answer, I am ready to jump off from my seat with happiness until he said,

“But I’m bringing Eun ji too.” And that makes the Exo members making faces and he makes my heart experience another crack.

The theme park day

Yeah. We had fun… But most of them.

“Baby, let’s go grab some food. I’m starving.” Eun ji pouted her small mouth to Chanyeol.

“Anything for my jagi. Let’s go.”

And by then, we entered a restaurant and started to order our foods.

The server serve us a refreshing peach tea and that’s where everything goes wrong.

“Hey, I wanna go to the bathroom for a sec.” I told Sehun as he sit next to me.

When I’m passing Chanyeol and Eun ji, I suddenly tripped and Eun ji’s tea and her GLASS fell on top of my head.

“Oh my god! y/n! Are you okay?” In a split second, Kyungsoo and Baekhyun are already next to me to check if I’m okay.

I am sure as hell that I’m not okay.

“Oh my! Your head! It’s bleeding!” Suho quickly took out his handkerchief and dab it on my bloody head.

“Hey, I’m okay.” Not. And my eyes keep glaring at that bitch Eun ji. I’m sure as hell that she tripped me with her fucking foot.

“Ops! I’m sorry. My bad. I was about to stand up when you pass by.” She sarcastically said and evilly smiled at me.

That’s not the first time of it. And it is definitely not the end of it. I first experienced it when she started dating Chanyeol. One day, I found my bag in the toilet. Wet. And many other days I encounter different kind of this bitch doing.

But, what did I do? I just keep it silence as it is not too dramatic and dangerous like today.

I force myself to stand and suddenly I slap her, twice as I can’t take it anymore. Everyone remained quiet as they didn’t expect me to do that.

And as expected, she slapped me back and that was fucking hard.

I raise my hand, ready for the third slap on her face when Chanyeol grab my hand and he’s the one who slap me. Hard.

“Why, the hell, are you doing that to my girlfriend?” Chanyeol’s deep voice came out as he tried not to scream.

My tears are already falling and I can’t even speak any words to him. I can’t even defend myself in front of him. I can’t even tell him that his girlfriend is a bitch that I saw her kissing another man at the park. I can’t even do anything at all.

But, I gather up my strength and look at him straight into his eyes.

“I’m so disappointed, Chanyeol. You rather choose to be on her side even though you don’t even fucking know anything about what she have done to me? I tried to talk to you to save our friendship and what did you do? You ignored me as if I’m not existed at all. “

I took a deep breath before I said,

“If you don’t even care for me anymore, then live like it. Pretend I’m not even existed in your life. Pretend that you can do everything on your own without my little help. Pretend you have a good and better life without me interfering into your happiness. But remember this Chanyeol-ah, don’t even regret it on the other day.”

And with that, I walked away from his life. With my tears falling so hard that I can’t remember anything as I totally blacked out just when I step out from the restaurant because of a bloody head.
