Relived kisses with Angus x Anti please?
|Relieved and Beautiful|
--
There were many problems that came with dating an Ego that was the eldest, and mostly forgotten, Anti found.
Firstly, Angus was never around. He was usually travelling between these different worlds he inhabited, helping people, teaching people, making strange videos that occasionally appeared on Youtube but were otherwise lost.
Secondly, when Angus was around, he was usually caught up by the other Egos because he was gone for so long. The others missed him too, but Angus...he belonged to Anti.
Thirdly, the things Angus did were dangerous.
Honestly, there were hundreds more that Anti could count, but he wouldn’t. No matter what the problems were, he knew how he felt about Angus and he knew how Angus felt about him and that was all that mattered.
Well, Angus’ safety mattered more.
Anti was used to the man coming back covered in some kind of animal blood, body trembling, eyes cloudy, some illness or virus running through his veins caused by scratches or bites of animals Anti knew nothing about. Schneeplestein got all the practise he needed in saving lives from Angus alone, and he ignored all the arguments caused by these incidents, working as a doctor and a doctor alone.
“I know you’re mad.” Angus rasped as Schneep made him comfortable in the bed, making a comment he would be back soon to check in on him. Anti’s eyes moved over the wounds on Angus’ body, the needle in his arm putting liquids and antibiotics into his system.
“Anti.”
“Shut up.” Anti muttered, “Just shut up.”
He collapsed down into the chair next to Angus’ bed and took a deep breath. This was not the time for arguments, not right now, because Angus had scraped past death again, and he was here, and he was alive and warm and breathing. It wasn’t something to be sniffed at, or snarled over, but something to be relieved over.
For once, Angus listened to him, and merely moved his arm as much as he could, taking Anti’s hand and pushing a kiss against the skin. Anti jumped and blinked, before he caught Angus’ eyes and his own pricked with tears. Yet again he had come so close to losing the one person he truly cared about, and yet once again, Angus had managed to survive and thrive. He said he did it for Anti. Whether Anti believed him or not was...subjective.
“I love you, you know.” Angus murmured suddenly and Anti couldn’t stop a smile.
“Yeah, I know.”
Leaning in, Anti pressed a kiss to Angus’ lips, squeezing his hand tightly as he did. The kiss was everything Anti needed to portray to Angus. The anger, the anxiety, the fear, the relief that Angus was alive. These were their kisses now, relieved and warm and everything the two needed.
And more.
