“Nevermind,” you sigh, and decide to climb on the counter, balancing on your knees to reach the bowl . As you reach it and come down, you knock the baking sheet off of the top of the oven. It clattered to the ground in a loud CLANG.

“Shit - Fuck,” You say, jumping down to grab the pan and wash it, hoping Eddie doesn’t get mad at you.

But as you reached down, Eddie appeared in the hallway, “You okay?“ he asked, eyebrows knitted together.

“Alright,” he said, apprehension lacing his tone. He was about to close the door back to his room. But then he called out “Baby, Watch your language”.

You rolled your eyes, annoyed that he would even chastise you when he can’t give you the attention you want.

You baked the cookies, satiating your needy self with the task for a little before putting them on a plate and bringing it to Eddie in his room.

“I just-“ you start but he interrupts.
