thinking about meeting heizou at your weekly local book club… him immediately catching your eye because of how he always has a ton of interesting comments about the book you’re discussing, as well as his uncanny ability to predict plot developments… meanwhile, unbeknownst to you, you have also caught his eye. you aren’t as talkative as he is, but he can tell that you really consider what the other members say, and whenever you do make a contribution to the discussion, it’s well thought-out and insightful… slowly getting closer over the course of a few months through the weekly sessions until you find out one day that you’re both interested in creative writing, and you decide to go and chat about it after the session… you’re both awed by each other’s talent and creativity and so you exchange contact information and before you know it, you’ve somehow started working on a short story together… maybe he takes care mainly of the plot and you of the prose? but of course you both contribute to both and heavily discuss any ideas you have before proceeding.

oh, and if you off-handedly mention that x book is your favourite book, expect that within a couple of days heizou WILL have read the entire thing and have made pages of notes on his thoughts as he went through it so that he can share them with you and discuss the book. similarly, you find out he’s a big fan of murder mysteries and thrillers, and when you read something he’s interested in, he is so eager to hear what you thought about it and why: did you see the plot twist coming? oh, you don’t like this character? why not? do you agree with the overall message of the story? he can’t help his excitement: you’re just so damn attractive when he can see the cogs turning in your head while you consider your answer, or when you’re passionately rambling about your favourite character and pointing to evidence you gathered within the narration to support your conclusions… oh, yeah. heizou always loves seeing sparks in people’s eyes, but you? you practically have fireworks, and he can’t look away.

maybe i should have mentioned that @totk-rewritten is my sideblog for the project of overhauling totk as a whole, approaching it from botw and how i think you can spin its systems and world further, instead of trying to fix terminally unfixably messy totk (which doesnt mean that that is the game i expected and totk not being that is why im mad, its not, idk about you but i dont have an entirely finished designed game in my head before i play it?? this is my idea to do a sequel, though im pretty confident, for once, in my feeling for gamedesign and alot of the things im doing with this rewrite ARE things i thought obvious to fix and change given botws feedback, but whateverrr)
