likes:
Olives
Sleeping
His family
The thrill of battle
Music (Calliope will sometimes bring her flute to play for him)
Laying in the sun
dislikes:
The gods, Ares in particular, for tricking him into servitude (he seems to tolerate Athena though)
Thunder and lighting (he was once struck by a thunderbolt, courtesy of Zeus)
Fire (even though he can wield it; when it's being used against him is a different story)
∇ - old age/aging headcanon
As Beastos ages, the underside of his mane will grow longer and darker to match his goatee.
He'll put on a little more weight and move more slowly, but that doesn't mean he isn't less dangerous as he was in his prime.
He will probably spend more time sleeping and laying in the sun, conserving his energy if needed.
Will only fly if absolutely necessary, his wings aren't as strong as they used to be (Calliope will probably ask him if they're broken :c).
♒ - cooking/food headcanon
Beastos will eat just about anything.
He has a tendency to pick off livestock, mainly cows and pigs. He remembers them tasting better when cooked though…
To satisfy his want of prepared food, he raids the altars of the gods, devouring any cooked offerings people may place there (much to their --and the gods'-- displeasure).
The Spartans at one point built their own altar to appease the beast, leaving slaughtered rams and wine.
He loves olives, he once ate through an entire crop. He's been chased away from that olive grove plenty of times (he always returns though, one angry farmer won't keep him from his favorite snack).
