X-Men Legends: Ani-Men

Full disclosure: I thought this was the High Evolutionary's animal people in general when I added it to the list. The Ani-Men first appeared in 1965 as a group of mercenaries hired for a job and given special animal-themed costumes for it. They've fought Daredevil, Iron Man, and the X-Men over the years. Later on, the High Evolutionary did form a small team of them from his Newmen, so at least there's that.

In an adaptation, the mercenary group might be fun as an opening act fight scene team for someone to take down. As for the Evolutionary's newmen, I expect they'd appear wherever the Evolutionary himself appeared.
