Told the guy I’ve liked since freshman year that I liked him last night. We were in the movie theater, I pulled out my phone before it started because I was so nervous
Then I wrote in my notes, “if you wanna hold hands, I wouldn’t be upset about it, if not let’s just pretend this never happened.” He looked from the phone, to me, back to the phone, back to me. Then I asked if it was a no, then he said “I don’t know…”
Things between us have been getting awkward, I don’t know why, so I though maybe it was my feelings for him and this would help. Then he pulled out his phone, and typed,
“There’s not really too much room for that in the army,
I was a little hurt, but tbh it lifted a huge weight off my chest. Later on I took him to my dads to drop my step mum off and he was more talkative on the ride there. He held a conversation, seemed smiley. Then we got to,y dads and he played with my baby brothers for a good 30-40 minutes. (It was adorable). Then on the way back to my grandmas where he met me to go to the movies. He was sooo talkative. Homeboy told me whole stories and there was very few awkward pauses like usual.
So tbh, needed to tell someone. But do you think he might like me back? I tried to be all “sorry if I made the movies awkward,” and he said “no, you didn’t at all,” and smiled. So I know it didn’t weird him out, and he wants to hang out and go to The new Spider-Man movie when it comes out, and he fr made future plans with me for us to go see the ocean when he gets out of the army. So idk if I am mega friend zoned or what 🥸
But he’s fr the only guy I’ve ever had deep feelings for. Every other guy I’ve liked (two others) I find myself liking because they either remind me of him, or I’m trying to forget him. So tbh would it be dumb if I laid low with relationships til he got out of the Army? I might try a few if I find a guy I really like, but idk. He makes me wanna wait because it feels worth it.
