Top 5 fae in your lair? :)

oooh let's see...i don't think about my fae nearly enough so this'll be fun c:

Anidina! Funky little fae..what a guy, I adore him <3

2. Pogonip! One of my older dragons, I think she's so fun. Ice/Mist is such a wonderful color combo and fae show off eye spots so well!

3. Asterina! Probably my first fae? The child of my sister's progens and the half sibling of Pogonip too! For a while they were Basic/Basic/Lace haha but I decided to fully gene them up last year i think? Took some getting used to but I'm happy with them c:

4. Daiki! And now, my newest dragon, gifted to me by @cthuwu-fr :D Special guy with such perfect colors and really fun accent too!!

5. and lastly here's Genevieve! One of the first gen ones I gened! I think she's super pretty and I was excited to get to use filigree, the perfect delicate touch for her c:

I wanted to draw these cute wordplay loving boyfriends: Whistle the wise weighty wisteria winking winged wyrm wrapped with wrought-iron, and foreman fae devil Anidina, live deaf namer of DNA.

i spent way too long trying to make a somewhat sensible palidnrome for anidina dafdsaf. palindromes are hard work omggg. as far as i know he doesn’t oversee the naming of dna, but he actually is deaf. ‘fae deaf’ being a palindrome was a pure coincidence but i Will milk it as much as i can

Kermes, Patlican, Orahov and Anidina :)

Kermes! He has a pretty simple explanation. I named him after a deep red insect-based dye! Seemed fitting for a plague-y boy such as him c:

Patlican! Her secondary is Nightshade, which is the plant family that eggplants are a part of! So I looked up eggplant words and landed upon patlican, which is Turkish for eggplant! consequently i always forget she doesn’t actually have the color eggplant on her dafdsa

And lastly Anidina! He was born 02/02/2020, aka palindrome day! So I wanted to give him a palindrome name! I wanted something pretty unique (so like..not Hannah or Reinier haha) but also worked well as a name, and wasn’t like blatantly a palindrome at first glance, and after checking out various palindrome name lists, Anidina fit the bill perfectly :D

saw this going around so i figured i’d do one! this definitely hasn’t been my favorite year haha.... but i have drawn a lot of dragons at least c: i’ve definitely had fun trying to make my increasingly large hoard of dragons all look unique

i also wanted to make a version that was all tundras..but after choosing a tundra from December to February i was devastated to discover i did not have any tundras from Janaury :C ah well. next year will be THE year of tundras. watch out.

I had a hankering to draw Anidina! He's my 02/02/2020 child :D

At just .48m long, he’s the smallest dragon in my lair! He lives in the swamp and is deaf. He’s a fun little rapscallion and naturally good friends with my palindrome ID girl Mirim haha

i posted about bristle and whistle fairly recently and mentioned the family, but i thought it’d be fun to just make a post showing everyone!

the most extensive family in Florabrisa not connected to my founders haha

So here we have, Dardo and her wife Uluru, and their adoptive daughters Camelopardalis and Zibeth!

Then we have Dardo’s nephews, Crystalspirit and twins Bristle, and Whistle! I think Crystalspirit is the twins’ half-brother but not totally set there haha. (and probably never will be since it doesn’t really matter tbh)

and they’re not really in the family tree right now, but i also threw in Brightsoul who is good friends with Crystalspirit (and Crys is totally crushing hard on him..they might be together some day :O ) and Whistle’s new bf Anidina!
