                                           the surprise in his tone could probably be heard through the phone as he picked up after a couple of rings. “ addy ! it’s super late, why are still up and why are you calling me ? ” he also wanted to ask when he gave her his number but he felt it was better not to. when there was no answer after a couple of beats, he stops in his tracks. cold wind blowing around him. “ you good ? ”

getting drunk just to avoid thinking about his now ex girlfriend wasn’t something that bentley imagined himself doing but, he didn’t have work in the morning so he didn’t really see the issue. there wasn’t any harm in occasionally letting loose every once in a while. although it currently consisted of him stumbling out of the cab and now attempting to find his best friends place — to have that one shoulder he desperately needed to cry on to get all of his emotions out. if he hadn’t been intoxicated then he’d most definitely be able to find their place without stopping at every single door silently questioning if it was the right on or the wrong one. after about twenty minutes of stumbling around the male decided to stop at this one door deciding that it was the one he had been searching for half of the night. a quiet sigh managed to pass his lips before bentley brought his fist up, knuckles knocking on the door a couple of times as he attempting to lean slightly on the door frame.

“clara...” this wasn’t an easy ask but it was always something he had wanted to do with their daughter. to take her back to morocco, to learn of her roots and to actually travel to all of the places his family had originated from. “i think she’s old enough to know.. and appreciate a trip like this.” it just killed him to have to take her back and forth like this, especially from clara. “and you know... she’s technically royalty.”

when she heard that they would end up the same show, her stomach dropped. she didn’t want to see his face again after how it ended. but at the end of the day she was a professional and this was her job. they had went through a few rehearsals but she wanted to know it perfectly. “ we are rehearsing tonight. “ her tone was harsh and she wasn’t asking. “ you can come over by 8. “ even though she kept professional around the other, she wasn’t going to act all sweet and cute. lola never forgot what happened between them.

michael had no plans on showing up on her door like this unannounced but he had his euphoria moment, his little eureka moment, and for the first time since his break up with his girlfriend, he felt motivated to do something. it was like his life depended upon it as he knock on her door –– his fist meeting it hard and strong. the moment the door swung open, his emerald eyes met hers met her with so much determination that he didn’t even stutter when he spoke but it might have came out a little strong. “i broke up with gwen, and i’m here and i’m ready to be a father for toby and a husband to you.”
