With time moving, what felt too fast to you at times. You and Anika had both decided to expand the friend group. In the two years that passed you made two new friends. After Tara, you were sure you'd never find love again. You were sure that Tara had been the one for you. But after everything that had happened, you didn't see yourself falling in love ever again.

Yet here you were, head over heels over Anika.

You'd never jeopardize your friendship with Anika. Never. You were sure, without a doubt that Anika didn't feel the same way. So that's why you had agreed to the date. Hoping you'd get over your feelings.

her eyes stay in you for a while — as if she’s trying to read your body language. she sighs while smiling softly, “what’s bothering you now?” she asks. you shake your head. her body faces you, her arm leaning against the couch, brows furrowed together. you glance at her before looking away once again, “nothing.” you mumble out.

“y/n, i brought you here with me because i thought we were gonna have fun together,” she says, “why don’t you go ahead and have fun with mindy then, like you two have been for the past couple of days?” you reply as put your phone away.

“are you seriously jealous right now?” she asks, confused. “there’s nothing going on between us, you know that. i thought we went through this already.” you stay silent, still staring at her.

a sigh leaves your lips, “it’s just, you sometimes just act like i’m not there when you’re with her or something, look i’m not asking for a—“

“can—can we just deal with this later? i just want to this party to go smoothly and not having to stress about anything, please?” she interrupts you, grabbing your slightly shaking hands.

you look down at your hands, pursing your lips together as you want to say more but you didn’t want to stress her even more. “i just think it’s better if we deal it and solve it now and quick, the party just started, ani’. you’re the one who says that communicating is important.” you mention but she only shakes her head.

“whatever, i’m not gonna deal with this right now. come find me later, or something.” she stands up from the couch, walking away and leaving you alone to god knows where, probably searching for mindy again.

fuck, you stare at her figure until she’s gone and out of sight, blinking away the small tears that began to form and sting your eyes. you stand up from the couch too, walking towards the kitchen.

you don’t know how long it’s been, you can’t recognise anyone around you and you can’t find your girlfriend either. you’re leaning towards the counter. you’ve lost count on how much you drank but the empty plastic red cups in front of you explain otherwise.

a figure appears beside you, “hey y/n! jesus, what happened to you?” you look over to find tara, chad just right behind her, both look at you in concern. “shit, you look like a mess,” chad says, who receives a small smack from tara who moves closer to you, taking the cup from your hands and putting it elsewhere.

tara puts an arm around your figure, taking you away from the kitchen and sitting you down to the same couch once again, chad following behind. “where’s anika?” she asks, you tense slightly and she notices, “i’ll try looking for her if you want,” chad mentions, you shake your head and a hiccup escapes your lips, “don’t,” tara glancing at chad before looking back at you,

“did something happen?” tara asks, you shrug. “i really think you should really go home y/n, look at the state you’re in. we should call anika.”

“i can handle myself.” you say.

“i think it’s more important that she takes you home and takes care of you,” she says, you open your mouth to say something.

and that’s when you feel something bubbling up your chest.

by your expression tara and chad react quickly. placing your arms around their shoulders to support you, rusing you towards the bathroom through the loud crowd.

you gag, trying to hold everything in before they place you down and you kneel in front of the toilet before you puke everything up, tara tries to move all the hair that’s in the way from your face. chad grimaces before quickly making his way out to get anika.

“where is she—fuck.” you hear footsteps rushing behind you, anika walks in and finds you and tara, she sighs in relief. the burning feeling in your throat had calmed down for now, “you should’ve seen the amount of cups she had with her,” you hear chad.

“thank god you were there for her, i’ll take care of her now.” she thanks tara and chad who nods before walking out and closing the door, you continue to puke up before flushing the toilet completely and attempt to wipe your lips with your sleeve, anika stops you — grabbing a tissue and wiping it off herself.

you lean your body against the toilet, cheeks flushed red, “how stupid are you?” she scolded, “i leave for a few minutes and then chad runs to me all panicked,” she grabs a water bottle that she had with her, taking the cap off before handing it to you, you take sips from it before giving it back and she places it aside.

she turns you around and brings your messy hair up in to a ponytail, using the hair-tie from her wrist to hold it all up. silence fills the room between you two, other than the booming beats from the party outside.

“are you still mad at me?” you mumble out so suddenly, her expression softens. she takes a hold of you hand, intertwining your fingers together.

“of course not,” she breathed out, “i feel bad.” she continues, “like really bad. i shouldn’t have stressed you out and saying to deal with out problems later, and then leaving you right after in a room full of strangers.” she sits next to you, heads leaning against each other.

she looks at you, bringing out a chapstick. “look at me real quick,” she says and you face her, she grabs your chin with her fingers gently and applies it on your chapped lips that dried after the incident, you smile at her.

she smiles back, pecking your shiny lips and you grimace — “kissing me right after i puke?” she rolled her eyes at you playfully, “oh please,” her expression falters.

“i’m really sorry, baby. i shouldn’t have left you there,” she whispers, you shake your head, “it’s fine.” you say. you stare at each other for a while, breathing steady as you two feel comfortable at each other’s presence,

“soooo you still jealous of mindy?” she raises her eyebrows in a teasing way, you scoff at her, pushing her away and getting up from your spot. walking out of the room as she chases behind you, the two of you smiling at each other.

You stared frustratingly at the countless papers laid out across your desk. No matter how hard you studied the notes and study guides, you couldn't seem to grasp the subject, and frequently got question after question wrong.

A text from Anika tore you from the math problem you were struggling with.

Anikaaa: hey can i come overrrrr

Your eyes flitted back to the stack of math problems. The smart decision would be to have Anika come over another day so you could study, but that idea was more than unpleasant. You've been at it for hours, and you deserved a little break. Besides, you really missed your girlfriend.

You: yes please i miss u

Anikaaa: okayyy be there in 15

Though it was only fifteen minutes, it felt like hours before Anika finally knocked on your door. You threw it open and practically jumped into her arms.

"Hi, pretty girl," she cooed.

You nuzzled into her neck and inhaled the sweet scent of her perfume. She pressed a soft kiss to the crown of your head. Warmth radiated off of her, relaxing you and melting away any previous stress you had about your class. She wrapped her arms around your waist, and her thumb rubbed circles against the exposed skin beneath your shirt. You closed your eyes and sighed in content, feeling completely content in her embrace.

"I missed you," you mumbled.

"We saw each other like two days ago," she giggled.

"I know but...I still missed you."

"You are so cute."

Pulling away from her grasp, you slid your hand around the back of her neck, and your fingers tangled in the strands of bleached-white hair. Her hair was soft and silky, and her lips curled up in a small smile as you stroked circles into her nape. You tugged her down into a searing kiss, and her arm slid up your body to cup your cheek. The taste of her lips was intoxicating; one you could never get used to, and you groaned softly when she deepened the kiss.

When you pulled away, you were both slightly out of breath and panting.

"As much as I loved that, Ani, I'm a little too tired for anything further," you whispered.

"Don't worry my love, it's no big deal. C'mon."

She took your hand and led you back into your living room. You followed her happily, but stopped when she saw the state of your desk.

"What's all that?" she asked curiously, turning around to face you.

"Oh, I was just doing some studying for this math test tomorrow..." you said quietly.

"Y/N! Why did you let me come over when you have to study!" Anika exclaimed, raising her brow.

"I don't know...it was so boring and I wanted to see you," you pouted.

"Are you at least somewhat prepared?"

"Mhm," you mumbled unconvincingly. You tried to tug her back into you but she didn't budge.

"You're such a bad liar."

"Ugh, Anika, I've been studying for hours," you sighed, rubbing your eyes in frustration.

"Well, what if I help you?"

She grabbed your hand again and pulled you towards the desk. She scanned the stack of papers, shuffling through your work, before pulling out a paper and handing it to you.

"Here, sit down," she said, a little smile on her face. You obeyed begrudgingly, grumbling curse words under your breath. "Okay, try the first one, and I'll go grab another chair."

You finished the problem within a few minutes and slid the paper to her. She examined it for a few moments, before sliding it back to you.

"It's wrong."

You groaned and slammed your head on the desk.

"That's it, I don't care anymore. I'll just take the F and dip," you sighed.

"Nope. I'm not letting you fail. Here, I'll show you how to do it," she said, rubbing your back comfortingly. She erased your work and redid the problem, carefully explaining each step. "You get it?"

"I think so," you said with a nod.

"Okay, try the next one."

You finished the problem in shorter time and you were a lot more confident. But the furrow of her brows told you your answer was incorrect yet again.

"I give up," you said, crossing your arms in disappointment.

She smiled sadly and kissed your temple.

"Oh! I have an idea!" she exclaimed suddenly. Her eyes were bright with excitement. "How about...each time you get a question right, I'll give you a kiss."

You eyed her slyly. "That could be fun," you said, a smirk spreading across your face. You grabbed the paper and studied the next problem, before getting to work on solving it. She watched you write, adoring your look of concentration. When you turned to her, she had a wide, triumphant grin on her face.

"You did it, baby!"

She cupped your cheeks and pulled you in for a sweet, loving kiss. You both smiled into it, and when you pulled away she squeezed your hand softly.

"Okay, do the next one."

At first, your answer was incorrect, but when you restarted, it was right. Before Anika could react, you crashed your lips onto hers. You tangled your fingers in her hair and pulled her into you. She started to push you away, but you pecked her lips several times before her lips finally left yours.

"Hey, I said one kiss," she said pointedly. You shrugged and laughed, turning to do the next problem.

You two spent the whole night studying, and a few hours later, you had mastered the subject and were prepared for your test the next day. By the end of your little study date, both of you had swollen lips, red with the many kisses you shared; some longer than others.

"Thanks for helping me study, baby," you whispered. Your head was resting against her chest, rising and falling as she breathed. The two of you had gone to bed, both tired from the several hours of studying. You traced circles into her pale, creamy skin, and she combed her fingers through your hair.

"Of course," she replied softly. "Now go to sleep, my love, you need rest for tomorrow." You nodded and fell asleep within minutes, feeling relieved and extremely grateful for your girlfriend. She always knew how to help you.

Thunderstorms and feelings

It was a massive thunderstorm in NewYork city. It was raining so much that you, Chad, Mindy, Anika, Tara, and Quinn and Danny were watching the superbowl at the apartment. Tara and Sam arent really into sports but they were loving the football game between the Eagles and the Chiefs.

You heard a huuuge bolt of thunder and you felt so scared you climbed on Sam's lap and felt scared.

Everyone looked at you.

"(Y/n)? Are you okay?" Tara asked you.

"No". You said. "I dont like thunderstorms at all". You frowned.

Sam hugged you tight

You didnt wanna admit you felt like scared but you also didnt wanna admit your feelings towards Sam's friends. So it was like a lose-lose but you were hoping for a win-win taking a risk telling Sam's friends how you feel about them.

You hid your face on Sam's shoulder but you looked at everyone.

"I guess now would be a good time to tell you everything". You said.

"Everything? What would you like to tell us?" Quinn asked.

"Uhhh..." You said. "Okay, listen. I like you guys. I've written stories like fanfiction about you guys. I dont wanna be friends I wanna be best friends I wanna win the superbowl against Sam in madden mobile I wanna marry sam. I fell for you all figuratively and literally and I'm sorry but I love you guys. I...love...you...guys!! Okay??!!" You said.

You breathed. "Their. I said it". You said.

Mindy, Chad, Anika, Danny, Quinn and Tara all gave you a hug.

"You...you love all of us?" Tara asked.

"Yeah". You said softly. "I always have".

"We love you too!!" Everyone said.

"I love hanging out with you you're a lot of fun to hang out with". Said Anika. "I love you".

"I love how you get my sarcasm. And when you punched Ethan in the nose for scaring us as ghostface you gave him a bloody nose! That was fuckin epic!!" Said Mindy. "And I love you".

"I love how we cuddle. I love you. I always wanted to watch movies with you". Said Tara.

"I love you. You're amazing at madden mobile. And you always help me clean the apartment which is truly appreciated". Said Danny.

"I love how you do my make up when I have a date with Mindy. I love you". Said Anika.

"I love that you love football. And you're my wing woman. And I still wanna know where you learned to punch Ethan like that!" Said Chad. "And I love you. Thanks for always washing my clothes when I get busy with work and school". He said.

You giggled. "You taught me how to punch". You said to Chad.

Chad smiled.

"And I love you because you always take care of me when I have a long week of school by getting me my favorite drink and a snack too". Said Quinn.

You started to cry. "Aww you guys....I cant stop thinking about you. I think about you everyday. Please be my best friends. Please Sam please be my girlfriend. I wanna go home to you guys everyday". You said.

"We'll be be your best friends!!" Said everyone.

"Yayyyyy!!" You said.

And Sam hugged you while she stood behind you."Yes baby. I will be your girlfriend". Said Sam. And you kissed Sam in front of everyone.

"Ooooohhh!!" Said everyone.

You and Sam laughed.
