Checked out the excellent Beasts of Burden. Written by Evan Dorkin (Milk & Cheese, Eltingville Club) and drawn by Jill Thompson (Scary Godmother). It's about talking house pets that have to deal with spooky happenings in their neighborhood. It's suspenseful, funny, and even Hellboy makes an appearance in the second collected volume.

I'd easily recommend it to anybody.
