Well, I've got something fun to look forward to once I'm back from my book tour! I'll be holding my very first owl pellet class here in Portland at Experiment PDX. (Instead of a paint and sip, it's a dissect and sip!)

Owl pellets are regurgitated by these (and other) birds and contain, among other things, the bones of the prey they've eaten. This is a great opportunity to see what owls like to eat, learn more about why bones are such fascinating natural history specimens, and what they can tell us about the wildlife around us.

PULLED A HUGE OPOSSUM FROM A DITCH BY MY HOUSE!!! Or actually, my dad did. He managed to grab pretty much everything that was NOT a bone.... STILL!!! This lovely pancake is with me now!!! He's pretty much skin n bones... He's soooo much bigger than Grimm!!! -Arty

I am very excited for an upcoming shipment of bones from @bone-basket! If anyone else has any extra animal bones lying around they don't want I can discuss my payment option with you. I will be making jewelry and other crafts. I will also be selling hand carved wooden wands, which I have been making for awhile now. Eventually, I also hope to get into crystal selling. Stay tuned for an Etsy shop! I am disabled and in need of money.
