Found a skeleton today

Saw a dead dog today and I'm so fucking sad 😔

We had to put down our oldest dog this morning. She had a stroke and just-- The vet said it was better to do it now, rather than let her get worse, due to all her other age-related health problem.

I’m going to miss the old girl. So damn much.

Our other dog is miserable; she knows what happened. I was sitting with her and she was making this weird chuffing noise like sobbing, and keeps watching the door even though I know she knows Cocoa isn’t coming back. 

I’ve had that dog since I was eight. That’s over half my life... You always know in the back of your mind you are not going to have your dog forever, but it’s a surreal and heartbreaking experience to actually come to the day where they are gone especially since she was an enormous part of my life.

She was my best friend, and I mean that. Even when she started getting bad mentally, she never once growled or snapped at me like she would with my parents and our other dog sometimes. She liked to use my feet as pillows, and she never really jumped she would just do this little bunny hop constantly when she got excited, and she loved giving kisses, and she was the happiest dog even when she was in pain or got confused where she was.

I loved her so much.
