I could watch her sleep for hours...

I did not put my hand under her. I just rested it there for a moment and she moved her head onto it. 😍

I just love animals... there was a dog on my walk today that was so eager to come say hi to me and their owner was visibility nervous maybe because covid but I was respectful and said hi to them both but kept moving, I sensed their relief when I moved on without making an effort to pet said dog.

I honestly feel so blessed when a dog just trots up to me and sits at my side, like that's just the most beautiful moment ever ever ever!

One of the coolest things ever was volunteering to be a teaching assistant for a summer program for kids at a local college. The teacher I helped was a wild animal rescuer/rehabilitator. Got to hold a baby alligator, help with a 20ft python, and handle a hedge hog.

Everyone should admire my awesome new icon, which i definitely didn’t waste an hour trying to find today. It’s a Tasmanian Tiger (aka a Thylacine). it’s the coolest shit, and a hella example of convergent evolution generating similar apex predators in two geographically separated mammalian lineages (the thylacine and wolf). Science is cool
