Looking for inspirations for this design, at first I thought about designing a turtle or some kind of fish, but looking I run into the flying snake and I couldnt stop imagining how it would use its movement not only to glide but to gain speed or do incredible tricks on the skateboard.

Work in progress. This month's character design challenge is "animal skatepark." I really wanted to draw some sort of bird and decided on a rooster. I originally wanted it to have an epic long tail but I couldn't get that to work, so I settled on some long tufts coming off the head. I wanted to play around with textures with the ink. So far I like it.
