ive wanted to design my felix since i posted locus, but i couldnt settle on a design AT ALL. then i rewatched s11-12 a week ago or so and it just clicked!
i was trying to make a design that both complimented and contrasted locus- basically, if they stood next to eachother, i wanted the design to make you think “huh, theyre an unlikely pair. they work perfect.” and i think i achieved that pretty good? felix’s fur is very light and fluffy while locus’ is very dark and short, and while they both have green eyes felix’s is more yellowy and bright, while locus’ is more deep and foresty.
there was sadly no way to simplify his stripes more without making him look too much like a recolored temple, so oh well, this is not as animator friendly as id like my designs to be. win some, lose some.

Yeah I'm sorry your boyfriend actually wasn't animation friendly. Yeah we had to simplify his design some. He lost the really cool but elaborate jewelry in favor of some stiffer stuff. Mhm. Yeah I'm really sorry
