create a sphere > change its size to extremely big

middle mouse bottom click on sphere from outliner > drag into input mesh in mash_distribute

chagne the number of points or method to reach the result

I think it would be cool if I can start with a girl in modern casual clothes suddenly changes to Indian wedding dress.

So here is the rough version of it. I should add on notes and dialogue (´;ω;`)

Storyboard_part 01

After writing down the transcript from the interview, I start to work on storyboard.

These photo are my initial idea for my storyboard. I was thinking to start the animation from a spinning globe, but I think it is not very straight to my theme which is Indian wedding, so I take that part off.

Synopses

The synopsis is quite hard to write out since it needs to be clear but short. These are the three synopsises I have done so far.

Synopsis one

The narrative of this 40second animation documentary is about an Indian girl who went to a 500 people wedding, but she didn’t know who the bride or the bloom was.

Synopsis two

The narrative of this forty-second animation documentary is about an Indian girl talks about her experience of visiting a big Indian wedding. The documentary starts with a girl talking in front of a camera and she turns into wearing the wedding dress. The audience would jump into her memory of the story. At the ending, the story ends with the girl sits by a table of Indian foods. 

Synopsis three

The narrative of this forty-second animation documentary is about an Indian girl talks about her experience of visiting a big Indian wedding. The visual story will be told from the first-person perspective. The words will be drawn as illustrations jump into the frame when the words have been read and jump off soon, like the images you may have in your brain when you are having a conversation.

Recording the interview

It is very interesting since this is my first interview with people.

I interview with one of my friend Lavina who is from Malaysia. We have talked about her journey to New Zealand for her study. The memorable parts are about her culture. She is a Malaysian Indian girl, so she has lots of experience of Indian culture. I find most interesting when she talks about the Indian wedding. Some of the parts I feel very related to my own culture (maybe that is Asian culture?) and some of the parts are very new to me.

I think I probably will work on the wedding as my narrative.
