The Amazing Digital Circus is another big one currently. Idk if I’m in many fandoms as much as I am just enjoying different media. :) Transformers, Gundam, Scream, X-Files, different video games, etc. I like a lot of things. :)

Oh okay thanks to clarify and a thing a i have been wondering does reincarnation exist in that au since you know lotus is been just being a highschool girl and all and no a ghost as well like atem?

Reincarnation is definitely a thing since Yugi and his friends in Our Game Now all have ties to a past life in Ancient Egypt. ;) As for Lotus' situation I'll get into the details of that at another time since that is something I would like to present in story form.

Hi there it's animationdork2025 from devintart uh just wanna ask a question of your yugioh au if don't mind how exactly does the ritual to bring atem back to life works since from what i understand its that his limbs if not his whole body its pulling itself back together again and being mummified back then that means that your whole body is being preserved even though you are still rotting away underneath those bandages anyway and sorry if this ask is like a spolier for your fanfic again I love every chapter of it and how much work and love you put in to it as well!?

No worries! The story has been out for awhile so at this point it's fine to talk about stuff.

Also just want to note, while I am part of the creative process as an artist, editor and sometimes writer, Our Game Now (The AU) is actually the creation of my best friend and sister, @dreamstormdragon . Just putting that out there for clarification. XD

Anyways! As for the ritual that brought Atem back. It's technically more than one. One done waaaaaaaaay back when he sealed away that helped preserve his body and keep it fresh, however when he died he was in the worst shape due to his battle with Zorc. So despite keeping his body preserved, healing still had to be done.

That's where the second ritual happened in the finale of Our Game Now. This one put his soul back into his body and the healing process could finally kick in fully. It's a slow process however and this is all for the sake of him not coming back mangled or anything healing over incorrectly. He is basically a walking corpse till the process is finished, hence why for the time being, still needs bandages to keep things together as dead tissue becomes living tissue once more.
