Day 5 Week 2: Gate

I opened up the gate into HBO HQ and invited the spirits of the Game of Thrones writers to come and put their magical spin on the Barians.

This was the result.

They were on a harried schedule so perhaps a few things were missing.

Nothing explicit happens, but the dialogue is not particularly family friendly, as is the nature of Game of Thrones.

This feels like a divine punishment. I wear all 4 Arclights and I just had to lose my favorite one.

My composer, @aerialartistic composed this magnificent piece for the intro.

This is a production that couldn’t have been made possible with a team of such brilliant contributors. I don’t think the me who started writing this in 2014 could have ever realized that their work would have grown to such proportions. May this new year bring forth more collaborations.

(Headbangs to the absolute magnificence that is the Chrono Story guitar solo)

Here it is! A piece that is inspired by the gorgeous artwork from this PV. Tasked with collecting the world’s Numbers, Yuma embarks on a journey towards perfecting his existence. If I were to follow Chrono Story’s PV, this would also mean that the antagonist’s various forms (Vector, in this case), would also be drawn. That is most definitely a project for the future.
