Trash in the Astral World!
What an interesting title, you might think! What the hell is it even about, there wasn't any trash in the Astral world!

As you might remember, Haruto is mentioned to be one responsible for Heartland City's trash disposal system; he uses his power to attack Astral World.
All is good, even perfect!
There is one question, a very particular one. Where did actually the all trash go?
Because when Yuma finally visits Astral World, it's spotless.
There is no sign of damage, or more importantly, trash. If you are in any similar to me, you might have asked yourself, where is it? What happened to it? it got forgotten, that's what happened, but shh, we're trying to find in-universe answer
Let's stop here, shall we?
Astral World had abandoned chaos, but it turned out it needed it in order to live. Before Yuma's arrival, there seems to be not any source of it left in this world.
... but are we sure about that.
See, human trash would contain human chaos, leftovers of it, think of all things that are usually thrown to the trash, just think. So if you're completely starved of chaos, you're dying, what would you do...?

What is the more'or'less fandom consensu on what way Astral Beings and Barians signify that they are alien married? Or alien engaged?
Rings? Another type of jewelry? New marking/tattoo? New gem/pearl on the body?
And if there isn't one, what is your personal idea on the matter? You person reading this post.
Zexal OCs Week, Day 6: Astral VS Barian!

Today, we'll be seeing stars! ✨
Truth to be told, I struggle to see Hoshiko involved in the whole Astral World VS Barian World war, at least directly. Although she's aware of Astral's existence, she can't see him; and she's out of Heartland City for most of Zexal II, so she doesn't have any meaningful contacts with the Barians either. At best, she'll be side-eyeing Mizael/Mizar HARD in post-canon. She might forgive, but not forget...
Given all of these, I decided to went down the AU route: what if Hoshiko was an alien?
As you can see, Hoshiko would be an Astral being! I feel the general teal/blue palette of the World and the whole "illness caused by the lack of chaos in life" fits her character like a glove!
Her name would be Elnath, after the second brightest star in the Taurus constellation! (Fun fact: Elnath means "the butting" and it's situated on the upper end of the bull's horn. If you squint, Hoshiko's hair can resemble horns...)
She would probably come on Earth a bit after Astral's arrival, in a desperate attempt to find a remedy for the weakness that's been eating her. And maybe, just maybe, she could seek help from a family that can perceive her thanks to their Crests...
And here we are! This prompt has been so fun! It gave me the opportunity to practice with face angles, and the Astral World palette is honestly so soothing~
Maybe I'll come back to this AU, who knows! In the meantime, I hope you've enjoyed it!
