Have you ever had a hoop where everything just went wrong? 🙋🏼‍♀️That was this hoop for me. I initially intended for it to be an outline only piece, but then my thread bled really bad for some reason when washing out the Solvy, despite having added white vinegar to the bath. So then I decided I would add some grey watercolor shading that would cover most of the bleed—except that turned into a disaster, too, and I ended up painting everything to try to salvage all the work that went into it. So it’s far from how I wanted it to turn out, but here’s my goofy little hoop of my favorite volleyball dorks.
