Animorphs #28 Notes
Ok I read most of 28 in the hour before I started work so thoughts:
- the Ax is watching soap operas bit is still vaguely confusing mixed with second hand embarrassment for me
- I'd forgotten that we get Chee content so much. I think there's an Erek cameo/use of Chee from 25-34 but I'm not certain (obviously he doesn't feature in MM3 but that doesn't count.)
- The most worthwhile part of the Erek cameo aside from informant duties is Marco suggesting they just see how many cinnamon buns Ax can eat before he explodes, Ax saying 'I already performed that experiment' and Marco sighing before going to tell Jake.
- The argument about freeing the chimpanzees is stupid. Escaping in chimpanzee form is more practical than battle morphs and randomly freeing animals is their hobby
- Abattoir trauma! Yay! I have a few funny stories from when my brothers worked in one of those.
