Animorphs #2 The Visitor in Hebrew! Found at one of my local library book sales. The hebrew books are pretty rare so this is cool.

Some Animorphs books in Finnish (source). If you look closely at the back cover of the copy of Megamorphs #1, it seems that the finnish book came with an iron-on decal just like the American version of MM1. This is pretty rare with most international editions, which tend to remove extras like that. 

Another interesting thing is the back cover summary for Megamorphs #2 does not appear to be a direct translation of the english back cover summary. In Finnish it starts with something like “65 million years ago dinosaurs lived” and for the US back cover it starts with “We could blame everything that happened on Marco.”

International followers?

Curious - is anyone who follows me from a country other than the US, and is comfortable using sites such as amazon and ebay (or whatever your local e-commerce site is)? (or alternatively, if you know how to find these books in a local used bookstore).

I ask because I have a low-key goal of trying to own at least one Animorphs book in every language they were published in, but a lot of the sellers who list these books online won’t sell outside of their country (or, I’m not sure how to order the book via a middleman/don’t want to pay extra or figure out how to acquire it in another way). Basically, if you were interested and it made sense, you could order/acquire the book in your country, then send it to me internationally, and I would pay you back via paypal (I also could send you any english animorphs book, or a few merch items I have extras of).

Languages I know Animorphs was published in: English (UK and US), French, German, Spanish, Italy, Dutch, Japanese, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Hungarian, Indonesian, Portuguese, Russian.

Books I’m most interested in: Italian books with the stickers, the new Portuguese books published in Brazil for the rerelease (these have distinct covers not seen anywhere else that I really like), Japanese books (these have 6 illustrations each for books 1-5 that were published), any Book 5 The Predator with the lobster cover, UK books 9,10,12,13,mm1 which still have the trading card inside, potentially some german books, potentially some french books from france (not the french ones published in canada).
