Animus came to be after Ink and Error got into a fight, leading Error to do his cliche party trick and kidnap Blue to piss off Ink, who is married to Blue. As Error was bringing Blue back, he got intercepted by Nightmare, getting Blue tossed into the nearest AU; Underfell. He was then rescued by Fell, and as the months passed and Ink still failed to find Blue, Fell and Blueberry became friends. As Fell entered his heat cycle, Blue offered to help him, since Red was away, leading to Blues accidental pregnancy with Animus. Animus was 6 months old when Ink finally found Blue, leaving Animus’ parents with a tough choice. Blue ended up going back to Underswap with Ink to take care of his other son, Splatter, who was 5 by then, and leaving Edge to care for their accidental child in a kill or be killed world, the small skeleton occasionally dropping in to see his friend and child. Animus grew up in Underfell, becoming a very good fighter even though he preferred to flee, and was perfectly fine, apart from Reds cruel pranks, until he was found alone by Greater Dog. The dog attacked him and almost killed him, if Fell hadn’t turned up when he did. Unfortunately, Animus got three long scars alone his face where Greater Dog attacked, leaving him blind in one eye. Animus became very shy, jumpy and paranoid, closing in on himself and refused to talk to anyone other then his dad. Fell decided it best to give up his 13 year old child to Blueberry, who took Animus to live with him, his brother, his husband and his other son. He quickly opened up to Uncle Papy, finding him similar to his dad, but it took him a full year to utter a word to his half-brother Splatter or Ink. He misses his Dad greatly, even though Papa is brilliant, and wears is hood over his face and covers himself with his scarf in an attempt to hide the ugly scar on his face
