oh thank you! they are one of my favourites too! when I moved cross country nearly 3 years ago and finally settled into a place to live for a time, I was greeted in my first week by a cinnabar moth fluttering into the living room. it's the only time I've ever seen one in real life. felt as though it was bringing me a housewarming blessing. <3

I love the anachronistic hair. Especially when it gets into the 60s and all the women have bouffants and eyeliner

lol right? i’m just like “... no woman looked like that in 1870.” i find it sort of weirdly comforting because if the show is that far from reality about people’s looks, and like, basic facts, i feel like i can mostly dismiss the way it presents cultural norms and beliefs too.
