oh! very fitting timing. i just realized as of this week my gaolers are all complete! i got Lemuria’s Tiger/Rosette thanks to wind dom and i got Aniruk’s trail thanks to @mobian-fr :D!!

so yeah here’s my set of gaolers! repping every unique gaoler gene except braided because i am holding out hope i’ll be able to rep it with the new ancient releasing today!! guess we’ll have to wait and see c:

Wanted to try drawing my gaolers, though none are fully gened and i’ve hardly even thought of lore yet, but here’s Aniruk! 

She probably had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the laidback atmosphere of wind and my dragons probably tried showering her with frivolous housewarming gifts, but she thinks she’ll be happy in Florabrisa!

and her horns might be made of ice? her tert isnt actually ice but i still think it looks close enough haha...

How about Venus and Aniruk for the crackship meme?

omgg now this is def a crack pair. things would probably be a little awkward given Aniruk is 40 years older than Venus omg. maybe they could have a mentor-like thing going on?? They’re definitely not a perfect match, but they’d get along much better than Acantha and Aniruk omg.

They’re both big nerds...since Venus is a writer she definitely would have a use for Aniruk’s propensity to shred stuff. “ugh this page sucks, take this ani” Venus is a lot more interested in prose than Aniruk is, but I think Aniruk would find flowery writing cute, even if it’s a bit extraneous. Aniruk would be amazing at checking over grammar and spelling too. Honestly would probably be a good proofreader in general, being able to give Venus ideas on what to cut out, add, change..of course not all of Aniruk’s suggestions would actually be improvements, but it’d help Venus keep a critical eye either way.

They would have a bit of personality conflict given Venus is more freespirited and sentimental, whereas Aniruk values pragmatism, but they could probably work in a way to balance each other a bit? Aniruk would help Venus not get her head too far in the clouds, and Venus would help Aniruk leave her comfort zones a little and try new things.

if u still want to work on the ask meme then... acantha and aniruk. double a dragons, what government documents they destroy

ohhh my gosh. i love the idea of them just. destroying government documents together fasdfds i think you have a bit of a wrong impression about Ani though. she’s pro-bureaucracy. she loves dealing with paperwork, sorting and organizing it all and making sure everything’s done properly. getting to shred up some documents in the end is just a fun bonus for her adsfd (a very fun bonus though) there’s not a ton of paperwork in florabrisa and she’s probably pushing for more dfdsf

so given that Acantha is very anti-bureaucracy, I don’t think they’d get along very well to say the least. Aniruk is uptight and likes to keep order. She adheres to Gaoler customs and doesn’t like to tend to think too critical about laws. Whereas Acantha is all about challenging status quo. And just, enjoying life freely without worrying about if something is proper or not. She’d say 99% of paperwork is needless bs that serves to get in the way of actual lives. The two just have. such different worldviews dsafads

I think they would probably agree the other is physically attractive at least? But there’s really no way they’d last more than an hour without one of them upsetting the other dfdsg

Pros and cons of dating Aniruk!

Aniruk!! let’s see

Pros:

She is incredibly smart! She excels at math and is happy to help you with bills and taxes or whatever you may need that involves numbers! She’s also great with bureaucracy (which there isn’t too much of in Florabrisa, but it comes in handy, especially for out-of-clan dealings haha)

She puts a great deal of thought into whatever she does. If there’s someone you can count on to not screw things up with carelessness, it’s definitely Aniruk!

Big soft friend..she really enjoys it when others play with her fur haha. She’d be happy to teach you how to braid it c:

Cons:

She was raised with very traditional Gaoler values. She has no time for nonsense like ‘sentimental objects.’ Everything must have some practical purpose, otherwise it is a waste of time and space.

If she thinks some protocol has been broken somewhere, she will speak up. She can be extremely persnickety with paperwork that’s been improperly done, but she extends this behavior to all aspects of life. On one hand, litterers will not get away on her watch. On the other hand, neither will jaywalkers. Do not rip your tag off your mattress.

Her big horns are literally made out of ice. When laying down with her, having fun feeling both overheated cuz of her fur and freezing cuz of her horns.

Woo!! Wanted to show off my gaolers finally since Pashmak (top left) is done! (Except I still will probably permababy him but not 100% sure. I wanna see his full size first too haha)

Top right is Aniruk who is almost done, gotta get trail for her but not sure how I will yet

And Bomoseen...he needs Phantom and Weathered dnsnf that will take some time

And lastly Lemuria who is still a baby!! She's actually an OC who id been wanting to get but hadnt yet but figured gaolers were a perfect fit for her. I think I might want Shaggy/Spirit/Scorpion if only because my need to have all genes djdjf not sure I actually want that for her but hmm....

I also have a goat coatl who isn't a gaoler yet and he'll need Shardflank but I'm just gonna put that one on hold for awhile ahaha....
