Hecate and Ramona for the crackship meme?

hm... inch er esting

To start, any sort of dedicated relationship is out the window; Hecate is aromantic, and, while not really disgusted or anything by the idea of a romantic relationship, just doesn't think it's worth her energy to try to make something work that's basically only for the other person's gain. Ramona wouldn't really care (as long as she likes somebody, she doesn't really care about stuff like that, she gets people have their own things going on), but... deep down, she can get pretty sappy and romantic. Having a partner that didn't reciprocate that, even for something brief, probably wouldn't be the best for her. Even though she might let it happen.

I also think Hecate might get annoyed by Ray. Being so stubborn about her lack of a belief in the occult would get pretty tiring for Hecate, and, again, easier not to waste energy explaining something like that. Ramona would definitely try to keep a conversation rolling, but she'd do that with anyone. So, she'd be courteous, probably even moreso than Hecate, but... eh? Not much common ground, except maybe an appreciation for weird old trinkets (though, for different reasons) and a distaste for industry (again, probably for different reasons). If they were closer in age, or Ramona hadn't been through so much life-defining shit at this point, she might consider it, just for the hell of it, but, as it stands, she'd have too many reasons to pass. And Hecate... Nah, she just wouldn't consider it.

How about Venus and Aniruk for the crackship meme?

omgg now this is def a crack pair. things would probably be a little awkward given Aniruk is 40 years older than Venus omg. maybe they could have a mentor-like thing going on?? They’re definitely not a perfect match, but they’d get along much better than Acantha and Aniruk omg.

They’re both big nerds...since Venus is a writer she definitely would have a use for Aniruk’s propensity to shred stuff. “ugh this page sucks, take this ani” Venus is a lot more interested in prose than Aniruk is, but I think Aniruk would find flowery writing cute, even if it’s a bit extraneous. Aniruk would be amazing at checking over grammar and spelling too. Honestly would probably be a good proofreader in general, being able to give Venus ideas on what to cut out, add, change..of course not all of Aniruk’s suggestions would actually be improvements, but it’d help Venus keep a critical eye either way.

They would have a bit of personality conflict given Venus is more freespirited and sentimental, whereas Aniruk values pragmatism, but they could probably work in a way to balance each other a bit? Aniruk would help Venus not get her head too far in the clouds, and Venus would help Aniruk leave her comfort zones a little and try new things.

Featherweight's gorgeous, can we learn a little bit about her? -Ridgebutch

Featherweight!! Omg I love her so much she is such a special special girl to me. She was a gift to me from my friend. Well more specifically, her egg was a gift, and I was STUNNED to hatch it into this amazing girl. Love me some browns soo much ahhh. Then I recently-ish got her her accent by Batcrooks which I remember seeing years and years ago and always admired but couldn’t afford back in the day, so I was super excited to get it this time around!

Anyway FEATHERWEIGHT. She is definitely a Wind dragon through and through and had loved travelling the land for many years before deciding to find a family/clan and settle in one spot for a while. Unfortunately her wanderlust is mainly in the form of wanting to be able to fly , which of course is not something Snapper dragons can naturally do. She’s considered breed-changing a few times but ultimately she is just happy as she is. She doesn’t want to be anything else than a Snapper... apart from a Snapper who can fly. Feather’s been taken on flights by Guardians strong enough to carry her, plenty of times, but she feels it just isn’t the same as using her own wings. So mostly she just dreams about it. 

She likes being near to the sky, so she serves as the clan’s lookout dragon. Her home is actually not in the clan’s main living area, but in the Sunflower Fields themselves, right on the cliff’s edge, where she can look out over the ocean and watch for any incoming dragons. Essentially living by herself most of the time, she’s a bit of a lonely little soul. Not that she doesn’t have regular visitors- for example Ejfel often stays with her so she can stargaze without having trees in the way. Her little home is overcrowded by decorated with all manner of succulents and cacti that she likes to collect and care for. She’s generally a nice lady but has a habit of drifting out of conversations after getting lost in her own thoughts..

cadmium yellow; when you think of the word “happy” what’s the first thing that comes to mind? 

i think of the color yellow! it makes me super happy (which is why i changed my whole blog for it lol). its just such a good, warm color ;-;

Are any members of the crew interested in Dahlia's botany? Also what's the name of Karloff's ship?

They'll usually listen to her talk about it, or appreciate her collection, but Dahlia's the only one that really cares about it. Something about it being a lifelong passion, some sort of ties to her Charge, and it being an expression of worship to the Gladekeeper- it's alot to her, but to others it's kind of just the only foliage on board, and something that Dahlia truly loves. So, they're happy to engage with it, but don't necessarily share the hobby, or fully share her enthusiasm. But, Dahlia does it for herself, and that's enough for her.

(As for the ship's name... Well, it's probably something very cool and fitting that I've definitely put alot of thought into, and know. I definitely haven't put off naming it. For sure.)

Pros of dating her:

- honestly there's no better pirate to date than the one who isn't really risking their life anymore, but is still charismatic and a little rich. like, she's set, and you can be too

- she's a compliment machine honestly. keeps 'em coming like there's no tomorrow

- might be a flirt but she's a flirt with a PURPOSE. she's in for the long haul if it feels right

- wanna read in bed with the light on or something? nbd. she literally can't tell if you're doing that

Cons of dating her:

- yes, you must earn the little manticore's favor. if it does not like you, then Karkoff does not like you. simple as that

- lots of folks on the ship, so privacy might be better reserved for elsewhere

- listen if your lip gets cut on her fangs while kissin' that's not on her. just consider it a perk. a memento, even

- she knows the somewhat unbuttoned flowy pirate shirt look is sexy. now, in more casual scenarios, she refuses to change the look once she's set on it. this happens alot
