After a month plus since Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2016 ended, here I am writing my report on the event. I was caught up with my school assignments and book exhibition hence, I had to put this post on hold. Well, now I’m finally on my Winter Break so I thought this would be the best time to blog whatever I remember.
Before the day of the AFASG16, I had prepared my schedule and route for the event but then my original plan was pushed back after I received a line message from KALAFINA STAFF.
YES!! It’s finally happening :’) Kalafina will be coming to Singapore for Anisong Fantasy Live alongside with Aimer, Alisa Takigawa, ELISA, GARNiDELiA and Luna Haruna! The lineup news was released at the end of AFASG16 Day 1 concert and the sale of the VIP tickets started on the 26th Nov.
Due to this sudden yet joyful news, I had to change my plan to wake up extra early and get my hands on the tickets first in the morning.

YES IT’S D-DAY!! Since I didn’t bought any early bird ticket for the event, I left my house earlier and reached the venue just before 9am. I totally forget about the fast pass entry for AFAWORLD members and thus, I was overjoyed when I saw the queue! Hella yes, make way for the anime trash!! (though it was super awkward queuing up by myself and surrounded by hard core fanboys ><)

Thanks to the fast pass entry, I was able to enter the exhibition 15 mins earlier and that’s enough time for me to dash to get my concert ticket! I speed walked my way to the Anisong Fantasy booth and bless, there were about 10 people queueing in front of me. When it was my turn, I nervously approached the ticket counter and safely did the transaction~ Oh, I got the front row A seat AND I’M PRETTY SURE I WILL BE FANGIRLING ALL THE TIME DURING THE CONCERT!
After I got my concert ticket, I went ahead to the Sword Art Online Marketplace booth to experience the world of SAO. Since one need to purchase more than $50 to get the ticket for Meet & Greet session with Matsuoka Yoshitugu and Ito Kanae, I bought SAO artwork and man, its filled with glorious artworks.

Then, I went around exploring the exhibition to get merchandise like from the HoneyWorks booth, Shining Otome Store and many more. I wasn’t particularly looking for anything this year due to the fact I splurged most off my money for the Anisong concert. Despite saying that, I still managed to get few merchandises and below are my haul from the event~
To be honest, I actually spent most of my time at the main stage of AFASG16 which featured lots of seiyuu~~ I will talk more about the main stage and seiyuu in the next blog post. Here’s a sneak peek of my schedule for the main stage events~
Yes, I literally spend half of my day at AFASG16 and it was totally worth everything. Oh, just be prepare for fangirling moment report in my next post~!
