I’m back, I’m alive & well, & our conversation went well. No worries, phew!
a little more than an hour that i have to meet up
now im really getting hella suspicious, but that could just be the normal me that’s talking.
like this customer at my work came up to me while I was recovering on Sunday night & complimented me on my shoes & of course I thanked her & kind of babbled how they were a Christmas present & I had them in black too. Somehow it turned into how I liked working there & what degree I’m going for & then she says that if I’m willing, she’d like to meet up for coffee & here I am, trying to put together a casual yet appropriate kind of outfit. Can never go wrong with black at least. Black cardigan, probably a grey shirt, dark jeans, and a pair of flats. Yep. It’s perfect for this windy weather too.
but yeah I’m kind of suspicious, partially because she didn’t give me the name for the company, but it was kind of informal anyway, & considering it’s just to ‘pick my brain’, which is what this meet up is supposed to be about, it makes sense if I don’t qualify. I’m not too sure what the company is about either, since she says she works with hotel rates or something to that effect. She also talked about her brother who’s apparently a year older than her who makes about 14$/hour & had asked him what he’s going to do when the minimum wage gets raised to 15$ & he’s like well then I’ll make minimum wage then (he’s a baker chef iirc?)
anyway hopefully this goes well.
oh yeah & i think that one coworker has moved on/figured out his feelings & since we worked the same shift. I will forever hope that he deserves the best because he really is a good guy. i was thinking about this earlier but I’ve never heard a single bad thing about him. Like legitimately everyone thinks he deserves to be with a really good person, and I totally agree.
crap gotta get going soon, it’s like a 25-30 minute drive. for coffee
i’ll probably get tea.
What do you even wear when you’re meeting up with someone who might help you get a foot in the door for a potential job but like informally for coffee??
like maybe dark jeans, and a nice shirt & flats ?? uh

i ought to go to the boba teahouse or coffee shop for the rest of the time. i get so much done when im not at home
ahhh I’m gonna get healthier again, eat healthier and not as many snacks (especially junk food) and drink loads more water. sneak in exercise here and there. ive been so sluggish and in an awful mood so this would be good
Trying to buy makeup online where you can’t swatch makes it very difficult and dangit I just want cute cases for my foundation to look good.
I’m so happy BTS is coming to KCONLA & I’m going & I’m just kinda delirious with joy atm thank you
