The difference between tumblr and pinterest comments under kotlc art is STAGGERING

Tumblr:

“SO COOL” “they look amazing stop” “WOAH” “your art style is so beautiful!!” “crying, throwing up, this is amazing” “I love them in your style, your hcs are brilliant!”

Pinterest:

“I like it but the colors are off” “why did you make them look so old” “this character isn’t gay” “why is the character so dark skinned?” “This isn’t really how I picture them” “I like the art but I hate the character”

They aren’t all like this but a ridiculous amount are. Can we please not? The artist put effort into that piece, if you don’t like it then move on.

I think the most unexpected thing that happened to me coming in to watch My School President and Moonlight Chicken was to examine my own teen years, (which, honestly was the source of a lot of mental trauma that affected me significantly) and have depictions of shades of my teen years on screen, especially with Li Ming in Moonlight Chicken.

I'm someone who couldn't go to the therapy needed due to lack of access and the fact that i never even let my parents know the full extent of the mental effects all that bullying had on me so they and to a large extent I myself, didn't realise I needed the help.

I had to do some of the most brutal soul searching of my life so far in my early twenties to basically allow myself to heal and move on from my past years and just act as my own therapist at one point.

And then I watched MSP and Moonlight Chicken and let's just say i wasn't exactly expecting to see so much of what I healed myself from (to an extent) depicted on screen and now I have FEELINGS.

So p'Au and p'Aof, I signed up to watch boys and men fall in love, not send me into long potentially unwanted irritating rants about all the feelings about FAMILIES AND RELATIONSHIPS that i can't keep in. Like i love seeing them, but the emotionally shy side of me feels very grumpy I can tell you that.

I’m Back!

Hello, hello!  I’ve returned home from my adventures in Europe (which was incredible(!!), but a whirlwind I’m still attempting to catch my breath from) and integrating back into the real world!  Jet-lag and work made me their bitch, but I’m hoping this weekend I can catch up... I’ve just submitted my @wincestbigbang draft, so I’m feeling a nice burst of accomplishment and cannot wait to see how claims go this year! It looks like my worry about the Sabriel BB was for nothing because apparently claims are nearing a month in?  I understand if there’s a lack of artists, I feel awful about the delayed situation, but this is a little ridiculous.  Instead of sitting on it and saying ‘there’s nothing we can do’ I feel like there should be something a mod could do, or at least signal boost and try?   It’s frustrating: you sign up for a challenge and you’ve marked down all the landmark check-ins and due dates and not a single one is on that pre-planned, scheduled date.  It’s not ‘giving us more time,’ or doing anyone favors, because what happens when everyone is lax about the check-ins and one actually happens on the correct day and someone is disqualified? *sighs* this is something that has been eating at me for a while, BBs are about structure, accountability and (you know) being a challenge.  This shouldn’t be an issue in the first place asdfghjkl #endrant I just wanna celebrate my OTP with my fellow Sabriel lovers, so if there are any artists out there who would like to claim the final fic, we’d all be very, very grateful :D  I’m excited to discover/connect with my artist, and I’m super excited about this fic! Other news! Totally planning on posting another fill from @spnfluffbingo this weekend, to make up for my absence and get back in the swing of things!  Ship is anyone’s guess <3 Have I mentioned again how stoked I am about my @spnkinkbingo card?!  I will 100% be in the drafting/brainstorming stages, and you can bet I’ll have a fic ready for that, too! Soooo much fun!  That was something I missed on my trip.  Writing and letting the muse flow. OH - and I WILL hit my @deancasbigbang this weekend as well.  Hard.  Looks like I’ve got one hell of a list, and I am loving every second!  

Now, if I can just make it through work tomorrow...lol I’ve missed you all!!  I hope you enjoy the beginning of your weekend, and you’ve been well while I’ve been away.  Sweet dreams! xoxo

That feel when someone say jerza is forced but praises gruvia lol. Jerza is actually one of the only ships in the big 4 which is not forced. Even if jellal is back from the "dead" he doesn't just suddenly go with erza. He has his own goals and while they love each other they both live seperate lives. They cant be together and they know that. Jellal is a fugitive and he cant go anywhere withought being in a disguise. (P1~)

Mashima knows this and doesn't just force them to be together despite knowing how they feel. And jellal did not just come back in nirvana to be with erza. The ship has their flaws, its not perfect but it is definitely not "forced". Gruvia on the other hand. This ship is extremely forced. Until the bridge scene in alvarez arc gray never showed any feelings whatsoever to juvia. But suddenly he is shown to consider her more than a friend? And aside from gray juvia doesn't have her own goals (P2~)

Her goal in life is to be with gray and nothing else. She literally doesn't care about her guildmates whatsoever which is shown in tenrou when she and erza was looking for wendy just incase she was in danger but all juvia wanted was to go to gray. The battle of fairy tail arc was the only time she showed she cares for anybody other than gray but mashima got rid of those feelings to focus entirely on gray. (P3~)

4) “How dare they portray gays as abusive!!” My dude... It is not suppose to be a romance manhwa even if it is BL... Horror is suppose to make you cringe and be scared like how people should be scared of this manhwa’s character relationship. It is a Horror manhwa with a straight up killer turned YANDERE and like all yanderes even in japanese manga has straight up abusive relationship with their victims. This is a VERY BAD choice of material if you are trying to find healthy gay relatioships you know;; I would recommend other mangas or manhwa but right now all i can think of is YOI for a perfect and healthy gay relationship..
