Bday Cake I made for a dear friend of mine.
Yellow cake base with American buttercream frosting and raspberry jam filling. I am quite proud of this. Two sets of photos to show difference in lighting with the colors :D Happy Bday to Peach!
Decor Inspo:
Chocolate cake w/ chocolate buttercream and vanilla buttercream flowers. I got to use a small piping flower nail for the first time so that was fun to experiment with. I watched my mom use one when she made large wedding cakes but I’ve never actually used one until now. The chocolate buttercream was not as sweet as I wanted it to be, but the cake turned out exactly as expected, so that was a win!
I made this cake for a last hurrah with my college group of friends before half of them move this summer. I’ve known these ppl for 5+ years! It’s crazy to think about where we all were when we met and where we’ll be in another 5+ years. love them to pieces (of cake) (hahhahahahahahaha—get it?)
Made bagels with my friend today! It was so fun and so yummy!
