re mc&d's marshalls

okay so like. the main guy is amos. based on wills and ways, but only very loosely.

about them in general - the marshalls are dhampirs, meaning they're not vampires. i'll explain in another post. they run the hong kong office and, amos himself, is currently the coo or chief of operations for mc&d, though much of the job is placed on the people who work for him and his son. similarly, most of their role in mc&d, aside from decision making, is making sure everything is in order. and listening to ruprecht carter's stupid requests. they're mostly the internal side of mc&d, and of them all, they appreciate the arts the most.

and the family

amos is the oldest, the patron (?), and like. that's it. he's really old, and he currently spends most of his days on a wheelchair, accompanied by his eldest daughter, and whoever else he finds important. he's sort of this centuries-old grumpy man. he also misses his late wife.

anna may (oc) is his eldest daughter and his only biological child. currently about thirty something, i forgot exactly, she's miles meaner than her father. perfectionist, demanding, and cold, think devil wears prada. also has crippling mysophobia since her mother's death by illness. as per her parents' wishes, she also sings opera. while not as frequently to consider herself professional and her recitals or concerts are very few and far between, she's undoubtedly talented. initially intended to be the next heir, she refused the role and it was passed down to her younger brother--skitter.

chrysophilus "skitter" is everyone's well-loved. guy. also a dhampir after being turned by amos after adoption, he mostly spends his time exploring worlds as an adventurer and even a thief via wanderer's library and ways. think of him as a wandering d&d rogue. covered from head to toe in scars from these adventures, his most notable are his glasgow smile, missing one and a half fingers, and a missing eye that he now replaced with a glass eye. he spends a good amount of time as a pirate in a particular world, even captain of his own ship. the ship is a mimic, and i don't think any of the crew are mundane humans. his "chosen performance art" is a cello. he does not like it. he can sing too but that wasn't taught formally.

april may (oc) is the youngest daughter, also adopted. but she was adopted as an infant while skitter was adopted at 13. like skitter, she's away from home most of the time, but this time it's because she's joined an anomalous circus. i'm still considering if it's fuller's circus or not, but she is definitely there. she's the youngest and possibly dating rosalie carter (diristine's oc). who knows. she's the most varied when it comes to the arts. though starting in gymnastics, she can also do trapeze, aerial silks, aerial hoop, among others that i cant think of rn. thanks for reading.
