DR. SIMON GLASS HEADCANONS
(Yes, I love the colour Blue very much)
• Glass is severely nearsighted (myopic)
• Glass has six identical pairs of glasses because he knows his work often involves things that might break them
• Glass has a hyper-acute sense of smell
• He can identify which lab a researcher has been in just by the chemical lingering on their sleeves (he HATES the cafeteria when it's Tuna Day)
• Glass has a small, jagged scar on his left palm from his field agent days.
• He's basically the site mom/dad
• Regardless of his age, Glass is treated as the parental figure of the Site.
• Younger researchers often go to him for life advice that has nothing to do with SCPs.
• Glass and Clef occasionally play chess in silence. Neither has ever won two games in a row.
• Glass' biggest fear is losing a patient to Suicide, he takes every staff casualty personally.
• Glass loves 1940s Jazz and Swing.
• Glass is an excellent cook but only follows recipes exactly
• His beef bourguignon is legendary among the Site-17 Senior Staff
• He is fluent in English, French, German, and Latin. He decided to learn most of these languages to communicate with his patients better
• When he's deep in thought, he clicks his pen rhythmically.
• Every year on his birthday, he goes to the Site-17 courtyard at midnight, sits on a bench, and looks at the stars (He just wants an hour or two of silence and peace of mind)
• To handle the trauma of evaluating SCPs and personnel, Simon uses a highly advanced version of the Method of Loci.
• He stores every traumatic session in a "vault" in his mind. (This is why he is so "stable")
• Glass is one of the few high-level staff members who refuses to use amnestics on himself.
• He believes that if he forgets the horrors he sees, he loses the ability to empathize with the victims.
• He is a chronic insomniac.
• Glass usually gets 4 hours of sleep a night. He spends the extra time reading pre-20th-century literature or organizing his physical filing system.
• Despite being a rather "young" personnel, Glass struggles with modern touchscreens
🎭 His Dear Witch ~ 🎭
It's unknown why do you even exist. The SCP Foundation doesn't know what to do with you. You're a confusing paradox that they do not understand and most frustratingly—uncontainable in a conventional sense.
#TAGS: Nothing Time Twins related, SCP Fandom is slowly drawing me back, It includes SCP! Reader, The Herta! Reader, Honkai Star Rail x SCP Crossover, Potentially OOC, Reader x Canon, Witch Reader, Short Writing, The Herta! Reader x SCP Character, More stuff like this would be included if interested, SCP FANS ARISE. 🔥🔥🔥
— TW?: Possesive Themes, Be Warned, 035 Being 035 As Usual, Potential Yandere Themes, He Calls You His 'Wife'.
A/N: After hitting maxed pity on Herta's banner along with her LC, I decided to make an interesting crossover because I thought it would be interesting to see how this goes for The Herta! Reader Insert. (Huge bonus that I'm blessed with good stats while I'm building her. 🙏)
You’re the definition of an enigma. A literal spacefaring, unknown anomaly wrapped up in an elegantly appearance, self-aware, and untouchable persona. The Foundation doesn’t know what to do with you, and SCP-035? He’s utterly entranced.
And Who Exactly Are You in the SCP Foundation?
You are Anomaly [REDACTED], a Level 6: CTS entity classified under Euclid. They don’t fully understand what you are—just that you exist, that you have an unsettling level of influence, and that you are playing the longest of long games.
You don’t act out. You don’t cause destruction. You don’t try to escape. Instead, you watch. You let them wonder why you haven’t done anything drastic, knowing full well that the moment you choose to tip the scales, everything changes.
They don’t imprison you because they can’t. They simply keep you in containment because you allow them to.
And then there’s SCP-035.
I've had a vision and now my voice hc for Simon Glass is Voice of the Paranoid from Slay the Princess cus that lil boi is so afraid and pathetic yet somehow his manifestation is so calming each time it happens. Which is, well, the main ingridient for Simon's own essence of existence, I think. It may make no sense, but considering I didn't have any specific headcanons for the lad before that, it's better than nothing.
The most spontaneous thing on SCP. I wanted to write something about this fandom and a single phrase came to my mind. "Changing the behavior pattern". From this, these headcanons were born
🩸 SCP 076-2 | Abel x Reader headcanons Changing the behavior pattern 🗡
Abel was the one who created a huge amount of trouble for the foundation, but what was worse, he created a huge number of corpses. They were looking for all kinds of ways to restrain him, but there wasn't much that could actually help. On the day he was able to escape to one city, no one expected to see what the foundation staff saw. They saw Abel standing among the dead bodies, holding your hand tightly. You were just an ordinary scared person. There was the blood of those whom Abel had killed on your clothes and skin, and you were afraid to move. But he didn't attack you. Abel was looking at you intently. When the armed men began to approach, he was already ready for battle, but he was not eager to fight. It was as if he was trying to protect you, and this attracted the attention of the staff. This was something new that they had not seen before in Abel's behavior
They were able to kill Abel, but they knew he would come back. You were injured by stray bullets, but you were alive and the foundation staff took you away. After a lot of analysis and simple experiments, they found out that you were not an anomaly. You were just an ordinary person, but for some reason you caught Abel's attention. You just wanted to leave the foundation, but they understood that you were a way to keep Abel. When he was reborn again, he planned to try to escape, but his gaze found you. You were sitting in the same room as him and the black cube, but that meant you were both a hostage of the foundation and a hostage of Abel. He could have easily killed you if he wanted to, and you could just as easily have died in his escape attempt. The foundation's researchers decided to find out what else he could have done while you were around. They had never seen Abel show interest in someone who was not a worthy rival to him, and therefore they were very interested in the opportunity to learn something more
Abel didn't attack you. He was watching, like he was studying you. You were terrified at first. You saw how he easily killed and you were afraid that it was some kind of perverted game in which you die in any case. You were afraid of Abel, and he saw it. That's why he seemed to be trying to be gentle with you. He didn't draw his weapon next to you and tried to talk to you, but you didn't understand what he was saying. He would reluctantly start talking to you in English, saying that he wouldn't hurt you. Abel himself wasn't sure why he felt so calm around you. He had never seen you before, he didn't understand why his rage was subsiding. All he knew for sure was that he didn't want you to leave. He wanted to make sure that you would be safe, and no one could protect you better than him, especially from the foundation's people
The foundation's staff realized that Abel was serious when one of the researchers, under the protection of several fighters, was going to take your blood for tests. But when he tried to approach you, Abel drew his weapon. He was ready to kill without hesitation. He wasn't going to let them get close to you, but you hurried to calm him down. Everyone around you saw that you were tense, but you tried to calm Abel down anyway. You didn't want to see more deaths. You still had nightmares after your first meeting with Abel, and you didn't understand how he could still be alive. Everything that was happening around you started to seem like a crazy dream, but you couldn't wake up. You couldn't escape. That's why you tried to make sure that your sanity wasn't damaged even more than it was already damaged by being in the foundation
Abel didn't talk much, but he took care of you in his own way. He made sure that no one dared to hurt you, and the foundation's scientists had the opportunity to observe Abel. They understood that while you were with him, he wasn't trying to escape. But they didn't know what could happen if you got used to Abel. They didn't know what could happen if you stopped being afraid of him and if he wanted to leave the foundation with you. But until that happened, they were going to take advantage of this lull and study it as thoroughly as possible

Content warning:
mentions of illnesses, amputations and medical malpractices !! IM STILL A STUDENT, some things may not be fully exact, dont take this post as a self diagnosis tool!!
Characters mentioned: 096, 106, 049, 073.
: ̗̀➛ Scp-096 the shy guy
Scp-096 is a very interesting character to me, showing clear human like behavior, even tho he cannot be biologically described as one. I wanted to make this short but there are just way too many peculiar aspects about this scp i just needed to explain them in depth.
Angelman syndrome — Angelman syndrome is an intellectual disability caused by neurogenetics. It causes speech impediment, the patients often having little to no ability to communicate, slow intellectual development, those affected often having the brain development of a few months old to three/four years old toddler and ataxia, which causes poor balance and difficulty to move and affects also coordination.
The reasons i headcanon 096 to have this disorder is mainly due to his description on the wiki files, him having developed a brain circa the age of a two years old, plus all we know about his way of communication is thru screaming and crying, which added up to why i would hc him with Angelmans.
Mixed anxiety-depressive disorder (MADD) with dysthymia — MADD is a psychological condition characterized by a continuous and apparently unexplainable state of depression, stress and anxiety. The symptoms may be both physical and psychological, causing persistent feelings of fatigue, headaches and tachycardia, with common signs of paranoia and isolation. People suffering from this disease often experience some (not fully) symptoms of other disorders like ocd, bpd and other kinds of schizophreniform diseases.
I think its quite useless to explain why i hc him to have this disorder :’)
Physical anorexia — differently from nervous anorexia, physical anorexia is a – sorry for the repetition – physical disorder in which the individual has troubles eating not because of dysmorphia but because of stomach centered issues such as gastritis, heavy food intolerances or indigestion, gastrointestinal acidity or just not feeling the brain imput of eating
Depersonalization-derealization disorder (DPDR) — is a mental disorder that makes you unable to recognize yourself or the way you perceive the world around you. This disorder is characterized by a costant feeling of detachment from your own body, thoughts or actions, sometimes making the person suffering it impulsive and unresponsive of their own doings.

: ̗̀➛ SCP-106 the old man
Before i proceed, i want to specify that my hcs for him follow the “ww1 soilder lore”
Also im begging you please to stop calling him radical Larry since its an ableist terminology used for soilders that got permanently injured during the war.
With that out of the way lets dive in
Shellshock ptsd — shellshock or combat stress ptsd, is a mental condition that lot of soldiers from ww1 developed from the trauma of the trenches. For many its a clearly visible disorder, with symptoms such as frequent and constant shaking, sunken and wide open eyes, speech difficulties and often severe panic attacks, for some others tho its more of a triggered trauma response, such as being scared of loud, unexpected sounds, repeating war-like habits in certain situations ecc.
For me, 106 falls more under the last category, not showing many physical signs of shellshock, even if still presents, but more of how the war affected him mentally.
Monoplegy — monoplegy is a paralysis, either temporary or permanent, of one singular limb. It may be caused by either a neurological or physical injury or can be genetic. For temporary paralysis, the most common symptoms are severe pain in the limb, followed by a “pulling” sensation in the muscle followed by stiffness and then the full numbness of the limb.
For him, i hc that he was heavily injured during war from multiple gunshot wounds in his leg, hence why the nickname that was given to him, and that he is now periodically paralyzed in that same leg because of poor medical help he was given at the time, probably, knowing medical war history, they tried to pull out the bullets, resulting in more nerves and muscular tissues damage, ending up in making that limb completely useless, even after healing.
Andersen-Tawil syndrome — directly tied to his monoplegy, ATS is a disorder that causes cardiac arrhythmia, making your heart beat either faster or slower, followed by a low blood flow in the interessed limb, causing the collapse of the said limb and sudden numbness. It can also be associated with hypokalemicy, aka low potassium in the body vessels.
The reason i hc him to have low potassium in his body is, well, because i hc his potassium to be ON him. I like to think that his body cannot physically contain the potassium his cells produce and spills it out from his pores together with the corrosive ooze (hence why the brown color of the mixture)

: ̗̀➛ SCP-049 the plague doctor
Almost all my headcanons for him are mental illnesses more than physical ones since hes, you know, a doctor, so he takes a maybe good care of his own body
Autism — yeah i know i didnt even have to say it we all know he is autistic. By the way, autism is a genetic pathology that afflicts the brain development, changing the way a person experiences social interactions, stimulus or communication, making the individual who has it to have specific routines, patterns or behaviors. It also affects your sensory perception of things and can vary one’s senses on a psychological level more than physical. Sometimes, autistic individuals tend to speak in one singular monotone, sometimes they may show traits of other commonly associated disorders such as ocd and social anxiety (which i hc he has both of those, traits like speaking, heavy on social anxiety)
Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) — a disorder that, just like ADHD, affects your ability to focus, except minus the hyperactivity part, meaning that your brain activity does focus only on one thing at time, blocking out everything else, hence why the attention DEFICIT.
I hc 049 being sometimes so hyperfocused on his researches to often forget everything else around him.
Third person Munchausen Syndrome paired with paranoid disorder — so, before i get into this, what is munchausen syndrome; its a disorder called “the fake illness disorder” where the individual fakes symptoms of a disease to make people think they have it. Now, im NOT saying he has munchausen, but he has more of a paranoid personality disorder (also known as a delusional disorder), making him see symptoms in OTHER people that aren’t actually there (heres why third person munchausen). Paranoid personality disorder, not to get mixed with paranoia, is a mental disorder that makes an individual believe in something so firmly that they cant recognize what is real outside their own reality. Paranoid people tend to act just normally during the day, since its more of an internalized disorder, but may have psychotic like episodes whenever their delusion is brought up.
Yes this is about the pestilence.
C type thoracolumbar kyphosis— kyphosis is a spinal deformation caused by multiple causes, in 049 case by sitting slouching too long throughout the years and mostly due to his own height. It is notable from the “hunchback” relaxed posture one affected will get. In his case i think it may be thoracolumbar (from T1 to L2). C shape stands for the way the “curve” of the kyphosis is shaped, meaning its one long curve and not multiple curves. Even tho not really noticeable (between level 1 and 2, and a bending forward angle of 15° at radiography) it will cause him back pains and physical fatigue.
Also i think he may be slightly myopic and have a lazy eye.

: ̗̀➛ SCP-073 Cain
I may yap a bit about prosthetics and amputations here so beware
Pedicle screws — implants that are used as a spinal prosthesis to keep fused vertebraes apart from each other, the implants work as a support of part or the entire spine with the aid of a “neil” that gets inserted inside the vertebrae, a metal bar that keeps the spine anchored and upright, and, using the funnel method, a screw will be placed between each vertebrae.
Trans humeral myoelectric prosthetics — a kind of prosthetic that uses the EMGs (electrical signals) that the muscle produces to move itself. While i hc them to be osseointegrated (internal prosthetics), i believe that the foundation was originally planning to have him keep an external prosthetic, for the surgery to change them every time they would get ruined would have caused the ones doing it to feel a great amount of pain. I also believe that when he got taken in the foundation, his prosthetics weren’t as advanced as they are now, getting provided with only some cosmetic prosthetics that barely did any movement at all, the stumps in his legs were barely molded into a socket and the liner didnt match the entrance of the prosthetic.
Thicker Myelin — Myelin is a protective coating around nerve fibers that helps brain signals travel faster and it is thought that people with higher IQs may have thicker myelin, allowing information to move more quickly through the brain.
Stronger synaptic connection and density of dendritics — some brains with stronger cerebral activity often have more numerous connections between brain cells, this is oten linked to higher IQ and to larger and more complex neurons, especially in areas of the brain involved in thinking and understanding. These neurons have more branches, which helps brain signals start faster and allows the brain to process and store information more efficiently. I personally think that Cain, being an intelligent individual that lived for longer than anyone else on earth, has developed a strong brain activation that makes him able to remember and connect all pieces of information he accumulated during the years.
Thats all for todays post
hoped you enjoyed it and didn’t bore yalls soul out of existence 🙏🏽 let me know if you want a part 2 :3
Also if anything sounds weird is because im not a native English speaker so i had to translate a lot of terminology.
