Canon:
- Refereeing for 2 years
- Scouted when studying abroad in Japan
- Interprets/translates for fighters
- Some experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (quit at white belt)
- Prefers football over MMA
- Favourite food is Churrasco
My headcanons:
- Most likely gets a lot of flack for being a woman as well as being fairly new to refereeing but due to being scouted she most likely has the best eye and reaction time to ending or intervening in fights.
- The only referee to not have anything negative said about her refereeing (at least on the wiki, I haven't re-read the manga in a little while)
- I don't see her as the type to be very close with fighters - she may be more comfortable around fighters who she can converse with in her home language but to me I see her as quite private mainly for safety reasons rather than a reclusive personality.
- In contrast, she is happy to talk about her culture as studying abroad then thrown into the underworld was a huge difficulty. It was made easier by the luxuries given by the Kengan Association and her previous background in martial arts.
- Not specifically competitive herself, gave up martial arts after a while due to losing joy in competing in it. However does to indulge in martial arts as an observer - mainly for her job though.
- Top 3 bands are Disturbed, Sepultura (literally one of THE best Brasilian metal bands) and The Bloodhound Gang. Enjoys these bands but isn't huge into keeping up with what they're doing / fandom culture(?)
- Introduced to the first 2 bands by her older sister. The Bloodhound Gang she stumbled across!
- If she wasn't a referee I could see her enjoying glassblowing as her job. Very creative with anything 3D, mainly does woodcarving as a hobby.
- Doesn't really enjoy watching sitcom shows, she doesn't like having to catch up or painstakingly wait for the show to get better or for characters to develop. Would rather read books of her choice!
- Although she would rather read books she much prefers non-fiction as she finds it hard to get attached to characters in general!
