It was during the season, so naturally, they both were extremely busy and between their schedules, it was hard to find some downtime. Thankfully, Anna had a day off and was able to fly to Boston to see Slater.  Anna had been feeling pretty sick over the past few weeks, and honestly, she was a little worried that she actually might be pregnant. As much as they used protection, there were a lot of times Anna just didn’t care. The two were married and she knew he wasn’t going to sleep around.  [text;] So are you up for some company??

Anna rarely had a free moment that wasn’t consumed with her playing Hockey and traveling around the world in support of it in some way or another. So she really wasn’t looking to meet anyone along the way and it scared her how close they had become in the last few months of her being stationed in one place. 

Though all good things had to come to an end and that’s why she had been distant the past few days. “Listen, I like you.” She says almost solemnly as she took a seat on the bed. “But I leave in two days to go back to traveling and I just..I don’t know if we can do this.”
