Halloween pokemon headcanon 🧡🎃: Cilan, Chili, and Cress dressed up as Alvin, Simon, and Theodore when they were little!!
Mai has thin knife scars all over her fingers. She’s been playing with knives since she was young and mistakes always come with learning. She doesn’t mind them. She thinks they’re a good thing, a rebellion against what her parents want for her, one they can never take away from her. Once, her mother told her no man would love a girl with scars. Pretty women have to have pretty hands, and knife scars do not make for pretty hands, no matter how faint they might be. And briefly, Mai worries that Zuko will fall into that line of thinking.
But Zuko doesn’t. He likes holding Mai’s hands, likes her holding him with them, and he certainly doesn’t care about the scars - he barely even notices them, and never more than a passing thought. She throws knives, of course she’s going to have the training marking her skin.
And while Mai never explicitly tells him about what her mother’s said, she knows that Zuko’s not like the men her mother told her about. He doesn’t even think about the scars, let alone as a negative. She knows with the way he always holds her hand, clutching it close like she’s precious, or the way he asks with interest about how she throws knives and never asks her if she’s sure she can cope with the dangers of blades near skin. And the way he never asks her to tuck her hands away out of sight, or the way he kisses her hands too with only adoring looks.
Her mother warned her of the perfection she would have to be in order to be a proper lady, especially in the eyes of her future husband. But Mai is far from perfection, and Zuko loves her anyway.
Bonnie from Pokemon XY and Mimo from Pokemon SuMo would totally be best buddies!! Like I totally could see them running of somewhere and then both Clemont and Kiawe freak out lol.
Headcanon: Trip's leading emotion would be Ennui, Georgia's would be disgust, Burgundy's would be Anger or Envy, Bianca's would be embarrassment or anxiety, Stephan's would be Joy, Cilan's would be Fear or Joy, and Iris's would be Nostalgia or Joy.
BROODALS INTRODUCTION
So, I've seen blogs that have made their own introductions of the Broodals and since I've been really into these villainous rabbits lately, I've decided to make my own. So here we go...
Madame Broode
Ruler of Rabbit Ridge, mother and boss of the Broodals. Also a dog mama (Chain Chompikins)
Age: 46 (though folks tend to think she's in her 60's)
Cisgender and straight. Female and uses she/her prounouns
Married (though the hubby is busy with work since he co-owns the wedding planning business alongside her. Neither her nor her bunnies see him that often but they all love him anyway!!)
As an Aristocrat, She can be snobby and haughty but has a HUGE soft spot for children and animals. She loves her family fiercely.
She also makes sure the rabbit ridge inhabitants are taken care of!! Don't worry, she's not a tyrant.
Politically, she is actually pretty liberal and is nothing but supportive of her queer children (more info later) however she does have some elitism towards wealthy people in her that she isn't fully self-aware of. Luckily, if she ever saw an impoverished child or animal, she would immediately get help as it really does pain her to see a hurting child or animal.
Her elitism tends to come from her past. She was severely bullied in school due to her weight and her unusual mannerisms (and in the 80's, those were not as accepted as now). She also grew up in a rural area with a redneck family (whom she is no longer in contact with) so yeah... She feels more powerful and sure of herself as a wealthy woman in power and it helps improve her self-esteem.
She normally doesn't allow cursing or crude humour in her home... But she sometimes will slip up, Especially when she is mad and there are no children around. She also has a big mouth and is Passive-agressive, so she gets into conflict a LOT
Has a special bond with Hariet with them being the only women in the family. Though she loves all her babies equally.
Has a lot of health problems such as migraines, and problems with her lungs and limbs (though she does not smoke nor do drugs) her weight is a contributing factor but she also is stressed out from her business and caring for 4 quirky bunnies and one high maintenance chain chomp. She loves every second of it though
Her interests are her family, shopping, activism, money, expensive and cute things, being in the elites, child and animal welfare, vegetables, anything related to physical beauty, calling others out, gossip, drama, and watching TV
She dislikes Misogyny or any disrespect towards women, any disrespect towards different body types, basically any type of bigotry with the exception of bias towards the wealthy, others insulting her family, blue-collar people (she doesn't hate them, she just wouldn't choose to hang out with them. Same with any lower-class person), crude and dirty humor, and anything not clean or proper.
Rango
Age: 18
Oldest son of Madame Broode and is the Bouncer in the wedding business. He also tries to be the caterer.
Gay and Genderfluid. Goes by any pronouns
Autistic, he has a hard time understanding social cues and tends to hover around people and be super clingy in general. Others get quite annoyed with him because of this and while it hurts his feelings initially. He is quick to get over it.
Very protective of his younger siblings and is constantly trying to spend time with them wether they like it or not.
Absolutely adores his mom and is very reliant on her. He isn't super independent or responsible so he needs her help which she happily agrees to!
Tends to act quite feminine. He'll say things like "besties" and "honey". He also likes to speak in a flamboyant voice and dress flamboyantly too!
His interests are music, theatre, cinema, cooking, gardening, cartoons, and writing stories!
He dislikes negativity, politics, small talk, gossip, dark humor, scary movies, and insects!
Personality wise, he is shy, quiet, sensitive, naive, caring, friendly, timid, gullible, ambiverted, empathetic, and optimistic!
Hariet
Age: 16
Only daughter of Madame Broode and is the Pyrotechnician/Fashion Designer of the wedding business.
Cisgender and Pansexual. Female and goes by she/her prounouns
She struggles a lot with her mental health and doesn't always hide it well. She tends to have meltdowns which include screaming, crying, hyperventilating, destructive behavior, and... self harm... on rare occasions.
The self-harm in question isn't cutting nor drugs/alcohol... It's either overeating or self-starvation. This lead her to develop an eating disorder. luckily, she's in therapy and is trying to work on herself.
VERY sensitive, more so than Rango! She gets really rilled up if you insult something important to her such as her family, friends, and interests. If it is done to a certain degree, it could lead to one of her meltdowns so... Watch Out!
Very close with her mom!! They are constantly doing girl stuff together!! Others tease her for it but she just either ignores them or teaches them things...
Like Rango, she doesn't always understand social cues, but what's different about her is that she is VERY Touchy-feely and loud as well. That and her volatility makes her rub others the wrong way... So she doesn't have a lot of friends
Adores her family! She is always spending time with her mom, cuddling with Chain Chompikins, or fussing over her brothers. She is always referring to her younger brothers as her "baby brothers" and she is tight with Rango as well.
Her interests are plushies, feminism, true crime, any cute and girly media, fashion, singing, songwriting, dancing, pop music, anime, fantasy and mystery novels, activism, animals, K-pop, and vlogging/diary keeping.
She dislikes mean people, misogyny, the news, school, crude humour, bigotry, being lonely/left out, challenging her on opinions, or any media where an animal dies!
Personality wise, she is bold, devious, emotional, volatile, spoiled, compassionate, bubbly, hyper, optimistic (most of the time), materialistic, empathetic, jovial, extroverted, and mischievous!
Topper
Age: 14
Second oldest son of Madame Broode and is in charge of the wedding business's client relations. He also leads his siblings when Madame Broode isn't around.
Cisgender and Aroace. Goes by He/Him prounouns
Very organized and intelligent! So he would be a great student!!
His organization stems from his OCD! This trait of him annoys his family but they do still try to help him through his anxieties.
Socially awkward in the sense that he has a hard time expressing emotions. He isn't unfeeling, but he can come off that way since he acts stoic and is pretty composed. Deep down, he's a total softie though.
He's also a bit of a coward. He grew up very sheltered so he wasn't exposed to a whole lot. He gets spooked at anything that "differs from his routine" he always tries to hide it but people who know him well enough can see right through him.
Total fact machine!! He could ramble on about anything from science to politics to history to pop culture to technology. So be aware if asking him a question.
His interests are anything academic, trivia, collecting, books, studying, finance, technology, politics, world events, playing his viola, board games, Minecraft, Studio C, and cats.
He dislikes mess, anything extreme and chaotic, sports, disorder, mean people, wild animals, babies, loud noises, girly things, and forced organized religion (as an atheist) (though he has no problem with religious people. Just don't shove it down his throat)
Personality wise: he is book-smart, goal-oriented, intelligent, curious, organized, a leader, efficient, stubborn, academic, stoic, logical, mostly unflappable, and has basic tastes.
Spewart
Age 13
Youngest son and child of Madame Broode and is the entertainer and in charge of decorations in the wedding business.
Demiboy and Bisexual. Goes by He/They prounouns.
Real name is indeed Stewart but due to his "talents" he has a nickname that everyone knows him as.
Large in terms of weight and has a deep voice for his age so people think he's much older than he actually is. In reality, he's just an early bloomer.
Does have bad social anxiety actually. His crude mannerisms are his way of overcoming it.
Very creative!! Literally could turn anything into art!!
Also has bad ADHD and isn't self aware in the slightest so he also tends to rub others the wrong way by being loud and crude.
Also a horrible student as he doesn't care about academics whatsoever so every teacher practically hated him with the exception of the art and band teachers.
He lives to eat so keep an eye on the fridge or pantry when he's around
While crude, he is very empathetic deep down and uses his crudeness to hide it.
His interests are art(mainly traditional but also digital), video games, playing his saxophone, dirty humor, crack fanfiction, food, watching blockbuster movies solely for fun, and spending time with his loved ones.
He dislikes anything basic, the norm, politics, school, work (unless it involves food or art), forced conservatism, cleaning or really any chores, being told what to do, and his loved ones being insulted.
Personality wise: He is creative, artistic, crude, vulgar, a slob, messy, spacey, humourous, sarcastic, lazy, street-smart, all-talk, empathetic, anxious, hyperactive, and a free spirit.
Anyway, These are my introductions for the Broodals that will go on @those-darn-meddling-rabbits, a blog that I created in their honor!! Hope you all enjoy <3!!
People judge Cilan quite frequently for obsessing over trains, however it doesn't bother him. Burgundy on the other hand, feels lousy whenever her peers tease her for obsessing over Taylor Swift. She acts tough and defensive around them at first but deep down, she is deeply hurt by their teasing and there was even a time where she stopped listening to Taylor Swift's music all together and hid her merch that was in her room out of pure shame. When Cilan found out about this, he decided to give his girlfriend a pep talk.
"Burgundy it doesn't matter what they say. You like what you like and all what matters is that it is making you happy."
"But Cilan... Their teasing doesn't make me happy and the only way to make them stop is to find a new interest."
"NO!! That is not true!! It's best to just ignore them."
"That's easy for you to say Mister Positivity!!" Burgundy retorted with tearful frustration. Cilan wrapped his arm around his distressed love and gave her a kiss."
"Alright look people give me dirty looks and snarky comments all the time whenever I am fascinated by the trains in the Nimbasa City subway station. People make fun of me for my food analogies. But do you see me dwelling over their reactions and shoving my interests aside... no. It doesn't bother me what they think. My interests make me happy and that is all I care about. All in all, it should be the same for you." Cilan explained with positive reinforcement.
"I know but it's just so hard to not care nor react in those situations." Burgundy muttered.
"Trust me Burgundy, it was hard at first for me as well. I had to build up my current mentality over time and it will take some time for you as well but you'll get there eventually. It's better to not waste your life on what other people think. Also, just know that I will never poke fun at your interests even if they aren't my cup of tea. I am your safe space." Cilan comforted as he gave Burgundy a hug for which she returned.
"Merci Cilan, you're the best!! And I promise I will try to not care as much about what other people think. However... I can't promise that I won't tease you over fanboying about subway trains again." Burgundy replied smirking.
"That's my Burgundy." Cilan sighed as he patted her head.
I came up with this scenario since I feel like I need this pep talk too!! 💜💚 Hope all the sommeliershippers out there enjoy this!!

Burgucanons part I lost track:
Bugundy is probably the closest to Bianca outside of Georgia and Cilan due to their girly and sensative nature and love for Taylor Swift. Bianca is the only other person Burgundy will have a sleepover with outside of Georgia and they spend the night just listening and singing along to Taylor Swift songs together. For example, the sleepover they had after TTPD dropped was an all-nighter.
Burgundy and Stephan are great friends as he will do various activities with her such as laser tag. One day after laser tag, He posted a selfie of the two of them on Instagram which unfortunately led to Stephan's other friends shipping them. Luckily, Stephan and Burgundy will have a good laugh about this every now and then.
Burgundy absolutely HATES fire drills at the PCA. Whenever the alarm goes off, she freaks out and starts crying because of the noise. Because of this, a professor has to take Burgundy outside before the alarm goes off. She's embarrassed that she can't handle it but hey, what can she do.
Burgundy is a very affectionate person. She and Georgia hug every time they meet up. She cuddles her pokemon all the time, and She kisses and hugs Cilan like every 5 minutes and calls him pet names. Her friends don't mind it though since they always say that her hugs are like a drug and always brighten their day.
