I don't... think I really have headcanons about ships—oh! There was a cute line way back in Johto that had some of us thinking Jessie and James could run a flower shop someday. Although, now, I think Jessie would love to do more Pokemon Contests...

I don't typically have headcanons related to ships, but the characters in them, a little...

One of my oldest headcanons is that Iris lost her parents in a snowstorm (but was too young to remember it) and that's why she especially hates and fears the cold, aside from her Dragon empath nature.

Cilan and his brothers might also be orphans (albeit well-to-do! They dress lile fancy private school kids), we never see parents, even in their one early childhood flashback...

If you like the Striaton triplets = Shadow Triad theory, for that verse or AU, I do think Cilan's fear of Purrloin is related to Team Plasma and that Ghetsis is responsible for Cilan and his brothers being orphans, even though he also took them in... to turn into very loyal guards/child soldiers. :D
