"Not as awesome as you," Annabelle chuckled. "Thank you again." She said before heading home.
"Silly Annabelle." She giggled. Annie was way more awesome. Ash waved to her and her daughter as they headed out. "See ya soon!" She called before going back inside.
Annabelle smirked and hugged her tighter. "I know you do. And don't you worry, I've got your back too!"
She smiled , looking from Annie to Eva and back up to Annabelle. "Thanks Annie. You're awesome."
Annabelle chuckled and hugged her. "I will most certainly keep that in mind. Maybe I'll just drop her off once a week, so we can get a full night's sleep."
Ash hugged her back and beamed brightly. "Fell free! You need sleep and I need the company." She giggled. "I'm so glad you trust me with Eva, Annie." She nodded. "I'll always protect her, keep her safe. And her parents too. I've got your backs. Count on it."
Annabelle chuckled. "Oh yeah. Life has a funny way of changing things. I mean I didn't picture myself becoming a mom so soon." She smiled as she picked up Evangeline. "But you can babysit and visit anytime you like."
"I will totally take you up on that. And anytime you and Tony need to just get away again, heck even if you're in the car and decide to take a vacation, stop by and drop her off." She laughed. "I don't go out much anymore.. So I'll always be here."
Annabelle smiled at Evangeline, she reached down and gently rubbed her head. "Hey Sweetie. Mama's back." She said giving her a kiss. "Thank you so much, Ash." Annabelle said looking up at Ash.
Ash grinned as she watched Annie with Eva. "Don't even worry about it. I loved spending time with her." She chuckled. "It's weird.. I never liked babysitting before the.. Yeah." Walkers.. It'd been almost two years but she still had a hard time coming to terms with the whole thing sometimes. "But now, I dunno, I'm almost eager. Funny how things change like that huh?"
"So how was my little Angel?" Annabelle asked smiling.
"Sleeping like one." Ash smiled. She jerked her chin towards the living room leading Annie to her daughter, who was sound asleep on a blanket amongst a barrier of pillows next to the couch. "I put on that cd and while I suppressed my urge to start dancing around the house, she fell right to sleep."
Annabelle smiled. "Would you mind ... could you baby sit Evangeline for the night?"
She smiled. "Absolutely, doll. Course I wouldn't mind! You goin' out with Tony?"
"Hey Ash, Can I ask you to do me a favor?" She asked while she gently rocked Evangeline.
"Of course, Annie. Whatcha need?"
