1. Do you still own a childhood toy? What makes it a treasure?

Yes, I have my baby blanket which is actually currently wrapped around my shoulders. One time I thought my mom had gotten rid of it, she had been saying it needed to go away cause I was growing up, and I flipped. I was so upset and was sure she got rid of it, I always had it on my bed. Then like a year later I went camping and when I got in my sleeping bag and felt something at the bottom... and there it was. It had gotten shoved down in the bottom of the sleeping bag when I had gone camping last and been left there. Yup.

2. What do you think of the last book you read?

Oh it was SO GOOD. It was the third book in the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. It's a futuristic sci-fi take on fairy tales. Highly recommend.

3. What do you think of Tumblr fame, and do you want to achieve it?

No.

4. Are you in school? What are you studying?

I just graduated from UCSC in June with my B.A. in Anthropology. I am back in school now going for a certificate in business management.

5. What does your average Wednesday look like?

Apply for jobs, nap, read a book, apply for jobs, walk my dog.

6. How many Facebook friends do you have?

Somewhere around 150. I go through my list and delete people a lot though because I only want people I am really close with on it.

7. Tell me one wish you wanted when you blew out your birthday candles.

DISNEY WORLD.

I do, they are fun.

1) What are the last 5 Disney movies you watched?

Hmm, let's see. The Parent Trap (1998), Peter Pan, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, and Frozen.

2) Last piece of Disney merchandise you purchased?

Well, i just got a Simba plush from Disney Movie Rewards, but I didn't spend a dime on that, so I don't think that counts. The last thing I actually purchased was a "Let It Go" t-shirt from JC Penney.

3) Last Disney related dream you had?

I rarely ever have dreams (I know, boring right?). Actually, I don't remember having any Disney related dreams. Whenever I dream it's usually creepy or random shit.

4) What Disney movies have you seen in theaters so far in 2014?

I saw Frozen at least twice in January, one of those times was for the special sing-a-long showings. Then I saw Maleficent twice. I saw it the weekend it came out, and then I saw it again a few weeks later.

5) Favorite underrated Disney character?

Definitely Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

6) A Disney movies you've seen that you don't think many people have seen or even heard of?

Well, I know a lot of people haven't seen The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which is such a shame because it's such an amazing movie. I know other people who have never seen The Rescuers Down Under, either.

7) Favorite Disney experience? It doesn't have to be in the parks, just anything you can think of!

Oh gosh, I've had so many great Disney experiences! One of my funnier experiences was when I was eating at the Garden Grill restaurant in Epcot, and Pluto sneaked up behind me and scared me while I had a mouth full of mac n cheese. This was back when I was in 8th grade.

8) Disney cosplays you've done? If you haven't done any, which would you like to do?

I haven't done any yet, but I would love to do Anna's coronation outfit, Elsa's snow queen outfit, Elsa's coronation outfit, Merida's green outfit, and GoGo Tomago.

9) Do you have any Disney stuff on the walls in your room? If so, what do you have?

At my dad's house I have 2 Frozen posters on the wall, and then at my regular house I have 2 picture of Walt above my bed, all 10 renaissance films mini posters above my window, and I also have a shelf with all my Disney merchandise.

10) Upcoming Disney movie you're most excited for?

I'm really excited for Big Hero 6, Moana, The Incredibles 2 and Finding Dory

11) Of your Disney Parks trips, which was your favorite?

I have such unique and amazing experiences on all of my Disney trips, it's impossible to pick a favorite!

For the First Time in Forever (Norwegian)

so I found a Norwegian version, which I thought was cool cause Frozen takes place in Norway and-

omg I'm laughing so hard at the translations like-

*gasps* "what if i meet.  . .a man?"

"i don't carry a grudge!"

So apparently the people who sing for Anna and Elsa in the Italian version of Frozen are both named Serena. (x)

I'm a little confused about OUAT...Like the season finale, because I thought it was stated by the writers that they would not be using 'Frozen' because like they said it was going to be a snow queen, not "Elsa and Anna." And I kinda just feel like it was a kick in the shins? Yeah I liked Frozen, but it doesn't have to be fucking everywhere.....

I mean do we really have to watch another fucking group of white people running around? Like one of my best friend does amazing disney cosplays and never has to make herself look "Caucasian", she's a beautiful WOC that proves we don't have to have ANOTHER SKINNY BLONDE WHITE GIRL LEADING THIS SHOW!

It's just a kick in the shins because like.. where is Mulan? Rapunzel??(they killed off Lancelot), Sidney is in a fucking room in the Asylum..Not forgetting the "Wise magic dude", and Thai girl who's only job was to lie naked in August's bed..Cinderella’s fairy god mother??Gus/Billy the tow truck driver??

When is there going to be more POC's on OUAT? That aren't evil, dead, or just forgotten about?

I'm just getting so fucking tired of it, I mean Pocahontas is so problematic to the point of pulling my teeth out, but growing up I needed her, because she was the only representation in Disney I had.

Representation matters so fucking much, it's not something to be ignored! So why is it that a show ABOUT FAIRY TALE CHARACTERS gets to pretend it's not?
