location: the council building.

------THE NICE PART about his work with the council was that it never really seemed to take up a chunk of his actual time. it was possible for gideon to hold down another job ( really more of a hobby than anything else ) and still have his personal life attached to that ... but the battery of questions that he was informed he’d be asking were quickly becoming the sole focus of his day. he wasn’t fond of it. somewhere in the between the personalities he was met with he dreamed of his cold sheets at home, a colder beer, and the peace and privacy of his home. THAT WAS STILL SOME HOURS OFF.
he could only imagine how strange it was for the people he’d interviewed thus far: guided through the halls of the council building and ushered in when it was their turn. he felt like a receptionist at a doctor’s office when he fetched them, like now where he appeared in the lobby of the upper floor and it’s impressive view, with a name heavy on his tongue. “ anna hyde? ” his throat was dry for how much he’d spoken, though he tried his best to keep his demeanor as light as he could. if she were resistant to the questions it wouldn’t be the first time he had to wrangle someone down into simply answering them.
