Thanks! And yes, I also agree with you on needing more personal traits. I also feel as though many of the current traits have little to no impact on the way sims behave in-game, so even before adding new traits, I think EA needs to make the current set of traits more relevant and meaningful. As it stands right now, many of the traits seem to be more for the player’s benefit more than for any actual game play impact.
Additionally, I miss being able to select my sims’ favourite colour, food and music genre, turn-ons and turn-offs. I think, with the new emotion system in TS4, being able to select things like turn-offs, favourite music and favourite food would make even more sense than they did in TS3. With the new emotion system, if your sim heard her favourite music, for instance, she would get a happy moodlet; likewise if your sim ate his favourite food. They could get uncomfortable or even angry moodlets by coming into contact with their turn-offs.
There is literally SO MUCH that EA could - and should - do with the sims themselves in TS4 before they jump into giving us more and more ways for our young adult sims to party like it’s 1999.
