Volleyball Practice
closed starter w/ @annaxfmd
Sun hadn’t particularly intended to be in the volleyball tournament. Frankly, while she was relatively athletic, she imagined it wouldn’t be an easy win with male idols playing as well, and she generally preferred not to lose. When she found out Anna would be participating, as her partner no less, she’d become determined. They could totally win, right?
First they’d need to practice, though, which was what placed them on the volleyball court. Sun tied her hair up and took a drink from the water bottle she’d brought, then straightened, stretching her back a bit as she did.
“Unnie, are you ready to start?” she called with a wide grin. Even if they didn’t win the game, she was still happy to be able to spend the time with Anna. Considering that Diary was being evicted from the dorms encouraged to find their own accommodations within the year, she doubted she’d be seeing as much of her leader and roommate outside of group activities.

donghae wasn’t used to having so much free time on his hands when there was a big event going on. back in decipher’s heyday, they would’ve been the ones headlining the festival. now the biggest acts that were hyped up were decipher’s juniors, which donghae couldn’t really be surprised about. decipher had been around for ten years, they were going to suffer a little decline in popular as the newer groups rose to fame, it was only natural. if he were being honest, he even enjoyed it to some extent. it just meant that he didn’t have to worry about having so much pressure on his shoulders. decipher didn’t have to do anything besides release music for their fans. they had already made themselves well known in the industry, that was all that mattered. they did events like this for their fans.
with so much free time on his hands, it was easy for donghae to get lost in the seemingly endless list of activities that the festival had to offer. and by lost in it, he meant lost in watching other people enjoy the festivities. he for one felt a little bit too old to take part in most of the activities and games that were offered to the public. seated down on a bench on the boardwalk near the beach, he glanced over at the person on the other end of the bench, recognizing her almost immediately. “are you enjoying the festival?” he asked, trying to strike up a conversation.
