Today, it remains one of my favourite Sterek fics. It is one of the only fics where I can sob like a baby for a couple chapters (you'll know which ones I'm talking about), and smile like crazy a few chapters later. I love the characterization in this fic. Stiles is perfect for instance. Don't get me wrong, he has faults, and is the little shit we all know and love sometimes, but he's also funny and kind and caring. As for Derek, he is just so loving, and I love how he opens up to Stiles as the fic evolves. What I love about the fic is that it seemed real to me. Their relationship is complicated, their situation is complicated, neither of them is perfect, and yet they fit so well together. I love how they banter like an old married couple, yet they still fight like children sometimes. Their relationship evolves during the entire fic and you end up not knowing how you could picture them not being together.
If you decide to read this fic (and you should, because it is fabulous!), know that it's an AU, in which Derek is very much a werewolf. He doesn't act like a human, and some of his behaviors could be questioned, and yet fit so well in the fic. The first chapter contains a bit of a dub con, but trust me, it isn't sick or dark, and it's necessary for the rest of the story. And once you get past it, you'll have 29 chapters of perfect Sterek. Fights, banter, angst, fluff, this fic has it all, so enjoy!

tbh i didn't even watch the episode but i saw gif sets and it looked super cute!!!! and good enough for me to maybe watch at least those scenes later today idk
but yeah man people are being shitstains and no matter how many actual destiel canon moments they get, they need ~more~ because god knows 6 seasons worth is not enough, amirite?
