"Champagne + Uno" follows the ~fictional~ narrative of a young woman attending university in France. Told from her perspective in three acts, the piece details her emotional landscape during and after an affair with her friend's professor. I intend for these introspective vignettes to read like a diary. This piece is inspired by Anne Carson's "The Glass Essay," the instagram captions of Caroline Calloway, and too many trips to Paris.
