I just think she’s a horrible, disingenuous person who has been able to get by on this vivacious, silly persona that she’s adopted. Some of it is real, but I think she puts a lot of it on. She’s not that silly. She’s done some very questionable things - usually related to money - and is just as dodgy as her husband/ex/whatever Andrew is to her.
Jeffrey Epstein helped her pay off her debts and she accepted that money, knowing what he was, and then apologised later when it was made public. She called it a “gigantic error of judgement” and said she’d pay it back, though I don’t think she’s ever confirmed if she did or not. I doubt she did.
She was also friends with another sex offender, Peter Nygard.
In 2010, she was filmed by the News of the World offering an undercover reporter posing as a businessman access to Andrew for £500,000.
She made a questionable “documentary” called “The Duchess on the Estate” where they essentially filmed working class people living in Manchester and had her try and “help” them out of poverty.
I think there was another documentary like this but set in Hull.
She secretly filmed some children in a Turkish orphanage for another documentary where she went undercover (like what the heck). She was actually charged for this, and I think settled out of court.
After her divorce, she basically milked her connection to the Royals for all it was worth and got by selling everything and anything because she was “The Duchess”.
Her constant defending of Andrew to the press.
So yeah, it’s mostly that 😂 It just really bothers me that she isn’t really held to a higher account because she gets by on this happy-go-lucky, bubbly, harmless persona to mask who she really is.
