Covert Affairs 3x15 "This Is Not America."

this book is cheesy but in a cute way sjdash. ion wanna talk abt how i had to restart from scratch too when it was out of time either 😭 (now onto fic writing fr)

I used to watch Covert Affairs, back when it was originally airing. I think I made it through 2 seasons? Then a while back I watched about as much again, maybe a little more.
The first time I watched it, I shipped Annie and Auggie to the exclusion of all others. These days I really like the potential of Annie and Eyal, the way fic writers portray his devotion to her and the sweetness of him calling her "Neshema."
It's nice to see Israel/Israeli/Jewish-positive fanfiction. It reminds me of growing up with Tony and Ziva and all the good fanfic from the late Noughties. I still remember a fic where Ziva had to take in a young child (her niece, perhaps, or maybe a daughter who'd been living with her sister?) and Tony was helping, and how cool it was that they had Ziva and Tony finding the kid Hebrew books and Disney films. It was a nicer time in fandom, at least for me. I miss those days.
The best relationship is:
annie + auggie moments [8/?]
Doing a Covert Affairs rewatch (after five years what's uuuppppp!!!) and. My god.
The amount of stuff in season one that's just blatantly green-screened. Good lord. Does it get better? I don't remember if it gets better in the later seasons.
